Big shout out to Hunter Valley Martial Arts Centre for hosting our mighty 14s boys for session on boxing and wresting after the boys faced a second week of washed out Bear Park! The boys ripped in and had a ball!

The Afbjj-Nsw Newcastle Cup witnessed an exceptional performance from Team Hunter, with 10 participants securing 9 medals and gaining significant experience. Notable achievements include Oliver Sims', Elijah Sims', Theo McLennan's, Kalani Canaday's, Emily Keane's, Oliver Allen's, Caleb Sims', and Jay Blackie's silver medals, with several competitors making successful debuts. Davie McEwan secured gold. Although Rylan Thompson showcased strong back control, he narrowly missed out. The team's tenacity and sportsmanship earned their coach's admiration. Gratitude is expressed to Sensei Erin and our little mascot Tilly, Emma, Steffie, Tim, and Marlee for their support. Afbjj-Nsw
