Tuesday Kids Classes – Term 2

4–5pm: Skills & Drills
6–7pm: Freestyle Session
(Flexible finish time if needed)

To our dance community and family,

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beautiful Rebecca.

Rebecca was a lifelong member of our studio and had been with us for over nine years. She attended every adult class each year and, even throughout her battle, she continued to show up and dance with strength, determination, and grace.

She was so incredibly special to us and became more than just a dancer — she became family. We shared so many milestones together, and she supported us every step of our dance journey. Rebecca was sassy, bubbly, full of joy, and brought such a beautiful light into every room she walked into.

We feel so lucky to have had her with us from day one. For nearly ten years, she remained our original adult dancer, and her loyalty and love for our studio never wavered. Her boys grew up dancing with us too, and she helped at countless events. Even during the hardest times, she continued to show up and support our community.

Rebecca was truly one of a kind, and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We will miss her deeply and love her always. 🩵

This day is all about bringing the community together, warming up the space, and sharing knowledge through workshops, open sessions and kick-ons. All proceeds go directly towards supporting our teachers, helpers, food and the wider community.

Tomorrow marks our final concert as JD Studios 💛
What a journey it’s been — 10 incredible years of dance, growth, and community.

As we celebrate tomorrow, we also look ahead.
In 2026, we’ll be moving into a brand new chapter.
Our regular hip-hop classes will come to an end, but our love for dance, teaching, and our students never will.

This isn’t goodbye — it’s a fresh direction.
We’re excited to continue sharing hip-hop and street dance in new ways through:

Another year at the Ekka done! So proud of our kiddies and our older boys, Riley and Kai, for an amazing performance season. It’s been incredible to watch the growth in our whole team this year – what a way to wrap it up!
