Tomorrow we officially kick off the 2026 Finals Series! 🏐🔥 Time to bring the noise, back our Shellharbour teams and leave absolutely everything out on court!
With finals comes a slightly different game-day set up, so please make sure players, coaches, scorers and supporters are across the finals requirements before games begin.
📋 FINALS REMINDERS
⏱️ Games are not centrally timed
✍️ Each game requires 2 scorers + 2 timekeepers
📍 Scorers/timekeepers must remain together in their allocated courtside area, in line with the centre circle
🏐 Coaches & players sit on the stadium side of the court
📣 Spectators sit on the opposite side
📝 Only players listed on the scoresheet, or previously approved by IDNA, may take the court
🤝 Please respect the designated areas, officials and Code of Conduct throughout the day

To guarantee a seamless finals experience, we will be continuing our game-day reminders:
✅ 2 scorers & 2 timekeepers are required for each game of the final series.
✅ The scorers and timekeeper will sit in the allocated area inline with the centre circle courtside - they are NOT to leave this designated area and must stay together during all breaks and stoppages (see map).
✅ Games are not centrally timed and each each grades schedule is as follows:
⏳ Juniors - 4x 12 min Quarters
Breaks 2 mins, 3 mins, 2 mins
🕕Intermediates - 4x 12 min Quarters
Breaks 2 mins, 3 mins, 2 mins
⌛️Cadets - 4x 15 min Quarters
Breaks 2 mins, 3 mins, 2 mins
🕕 Seniors -4x 15 min Quarters
Breaks 3 mins, 5 mins, 3 mins
✅ Both team scorers are responsible for filling in starting player positions at each interval.
✅ The home team scorer will mark off the goals scored for each team, which will be checked by the away team scorer.
✅ Spectators are to sit within the designated areas only opposite from Stadium
✅ Coaches & Players are to stay within the designated areas only, seated on stadium side of courts (see map).
✅ Only players with their names printed on the score sheet can take the court or previously approved by IDNA.
✅ Each team may nominate 1 person to approach the scorers at each interval to confirm the score. No other person should approach the scorers other than officials from the Association.
✅ Should the score be drawn at the end of play, the 'drawn game procedure' will take effect.
✅ All Players, Coaches and Spectators have a duty to follow our 'Rules Of Competiton' & 'Code Of Conduct'. Unacceptable and aggressive behaviour will NOT be tolerated.
