COMMUNITY AWARDS /// 2026

Last night we had 8 invitees attend the Outer East Community Awards Night at Rochford.

What a great night for the Burras! 6 of our 8 invitees took home an award.

Ally Langdon was a finalist for Netball Coach of the Year. What an amazing achievement for Ally, after 1 year of taking on role as Head Coach at only 21 years old, and stepping up to Premier Division. We couldn’t be prouder of Ally.

Ash Taylor was also a finalist for Women’s Football Coach of the Year. Another great achievement, coming of Premiers in Division 2, stepping up to Division 1 and making a Grand Final! Well done, Pooey!

Rachael Maxwell took home an awesome award, ‘Women’s and Girls Positive Impact Award’. Well deserved for all your hard work in our Women’s Footy department!!

Neil Jorgensen was a finalist for Trainer of the Year!

Alex Woods was awarded Best Social Media in the League!

Gabby Woods was a finalist for Young Volunteer of the Year!

Trudy Bond was awarded 10+ years of service, Neil Jorgensen 20+ Years and Rodney McKail 30+ years of Service! Amazing recognition to these 3 who put in immense effort into our club!!

Well done everyone, an amazing night for the burras 💪🏻💙

C Grade is the only team progressing to the finals.
