There’s a difference between exercising and training

And no, one isn’t necessarily “better” than the other. Exercise can be going for a run, jumping into a class or moving your body simply because you enjoy it. Training is when there’s intention behind what you’re doing.

There’s a goal. There’s a plan. You’re tracking your progress and gradually asking your body to do more over time.

If your goal is to get stronger, build muscle or improve your fitness, you don’t need to leave every session absolutely wrecked. You need consistency, progression and a plan that actually moves you towards your goal.

So next time you hit the gym, ask yourself:
Am I exercising today, or am I training towards something? 👀

If you need help with “training” PLEASE reach out to us!

MEMBERS OF THE MONTH: ANDREW & LIZ 🏆

18 years of training with Coby and still showing up week after week. That kind of consistency speaks for itself.

We asked Andrew a few questions about his training.

Why do you strength train?
“To keep strength in my muscles and joints so I can continue doing the simple things in life, like sitting and standing.”

What keeps you motivated?
“No excuses, just show up.”

Andrew’s tip:
“Your health is the most valuable investment you can make in your life. Once it’s gone, it’s hard to get it back again.”

19 years of consistency, no excuses, just showing up. 💪🏻

A great reminder that strength training is not just about getting stronger. It’s about staying strong for life 🙌🏻

The number on the scales only tells you how much you weigh, not what that weight is actually made up of

An InBody scan can give you a better picture of what’s happening with your body composition, including changes in muscle mass and body fat.

Because sometimes the scales haven’t moved… but your body composition HAS 💪🏼

It’s another tool we can use to track progress, spot trends and make more informed decisions around your training and nutrition.

Remember, one scan is just one piece of data. The real value comes from tracking changes over time

Want to see what’s happening beyond the scales?

There’s a BIG difference between creating a training stimulus and just creating more fatigue.

Yes, training should challenge you. But more sweat, more soreness, less rest and feeling absolutely wrecked afterwards doesn’t automatically mean more results.

Good training is about applying enough stimulus for your body to adapt, recovering from it, and then coming back ready to progress again.

You don’t need to prove how hard you worked by how destroyed you feel afterwards.

Train hard. Recover well. Progress over time!
