Cricket Season 2026/27 is fast approaching. Winter sports will be finishing soon, and it’s time to start thinking about the warmer weather.

With the cricket season just around the corner, we need to continue organising the upcoming season.

You would have noticed a few things happening through our WhatsApp groups and social media, including the announcement of our new Club Coach, Alister Lord, who is keen to help develop our coaches and assist with the development of our junior players.

Registrations are now open for all teams.

Junior registration fees for Season 2026/27 will be $150.00.

Please remember that all players must be financial before the season starts.

We are pushing ahead with our Junior Girls and Senior Women’s teams, so if you know of any daughters, mothers, or other females who may be interested, please pass on the details. Girls will receive free registration and a free playing shirt. Growing our girls’ program will benefit the club as a whole and strengthen our ability to secure grants that support the entire junior program.

Thank you to everyone who has already registered. If you haven’t registered your child yet, please do so as soon as possible, as we are getting close to finalising team numbers. Every player must be registered before they can take the field. This is important as we need to advise the RDCA of our team numbers for each age group so fixtures can be finalised.

As the season approaches we are going to have our first outdoor session.

Saturday 12th September
11am @ Walker Reserve

This will be followed by players lunch at The Knox Club! This is a really important preseason day and it would be great to see as many players down training. It’s a great chance to have a hit outdoors, and get the playing group together to support a sponsor and have a feed!

The 3rd uniform window closes 11:59pm tomorrow (Tuesday 8th). If you need to order any club uniform or gear ahead of the season, make sure you jump on and get sorted while the shop is open.

The 2026/27 season starts here.

This isn’t just a season launch — it’s a statement of who we are and where we’re heading.

We’re rebuilding with purpose. Massive announcements are coming, a new coach is stepping in, and fresh senior and junior players — along with their families — are joining the Devils.
Our whole community is coming together: old friends reunited, new faces welcomed, and a club ready to surge forward.
