LACHLAN MUIR RE-SIGNED FOR 2026/2027

We are excited to welcome back Lachlan Muir for Season 26/27.

Lachy has developed into an ever reliable opening/first change bowler for our 1st XI over the last 4-5 years, his consistent line and length bowling has snagged us a vital wicket on numerous occasions.

'Choccy' not only brings fantastic on-field performances, he is just as valued and respected off-field and brings incredible value and gratitude for his team mates and club mates alike.

YUG PANDYA RE-SIGNED FOR 2026/2027

We are thrilled to announce that Yug Pandya will be gracing Manson Reserve once again for season 26/27.

Yug has been an important part of our growth and development for the last few years now, proving his worth as an exciting top order bat and an elite fielder, he's also handy with the wang in the nets too!

Yug has also been a key contributor in the 1XI premiership and 2XI premiership over the past 2 seasons, making vital runs when the games been on the line.

Can’t wait to see Yug back next season!

SHAURYA SHUKLA
RE-SIGNED FOR 2026-2027

We are excited to announce that Shaurya Shukla will be back for season 2026/27.

'Sugar' is an exciting and explosive opening bat who has flourished in his natural game in the 1st XI over the last 2 seasons, another STA Junior who has worked his way up the grades, Shaurya continues to impress and we can't wait to see what dynamic Sugar will bring to the group next season and onwards.

EXCITING COACHING OPPORTUNITY 💙

St Andrews Cricket Club are excited to offer the role of Senior Women’s Coach and Director of Female Coaching for the upcoming 2026/2027 season.

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Level 2 coach to coordinate the senior women’s program alongside 2 already appointed assistant coaches.

We will tailor the role to suit your skillset, but the key requirements and criteria for the role are:

- Plan and deliver a skills-based, fun and active pre-season, utilising both the new indoor cricket facility at Jubilee Park, Ringwood as well as our new outdoor training facility at JW Manson Reserve and regular season training program alongside the assistant coaches.

- Lead the preparation for the 1st XI team on match day in a positive manner on Sunday afternoons
(October to March)

- Supporting player development across skills, fitness, mindset and game awareness

- Most importantly, be a role model for the players, and provide positive encouragement by creating a team atmosphere and a fun environment

We would hope candidates have previous experience - Level 1 coaching accreditation (and are prepared to obtain Level 2 which the club will actively support)

Working with Children Check is mandatory,
adhering to Cricket Australia's Child Safeguarding policies.

You will have the support of an experienced assistant coach and our Head of On-Field Performance, leaving your focus solely on building a competitive and fun culture within the playing squad.

Reflective of qualifications and experience, remuneration is negotiable and is backed by our successful application for Play Our Way grant to develop our female cricket participation and inclusion.

🏏 St Andrews Cricket Club – Junior Female Cricket Academy 🏏

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Junior Female Cricket Academy, running throughout June at Saxon Sports Croydon!

📅 Dates:
June 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th

📍 Location:
Saxon Sports, Croydon

⏰ Time:
5:30pm – 7:00pm

👧 Ages:
7 – 17 years old

$ Cost:
Free

Our academy will focus on building upon each player’s current skills and helping improve their overall cricket capabilities, all while having fun in a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. Sessions will be led by highly skilled coaches from both within St Andrews Cricket Club and external coaching programs

This is a fantastic opportunity for our young female cricketers to continue developing during the off-season and be ready to attack the upcoming season with confidence.

The academy is open to all players — whether you currently play at St Andrews Cricket Club or another local club — as we continue working to grow participation and improve skill development across all levels of junior female cricket.

KANE SCANLON
RE-SIGNED FOR 2026-2027

We are delighted to announce that Kane Scanlon has signed on as a Playing Assistant Coach for season 2026/27.

Kane joined us last season where he settled in brilliantly working alongside Senior Men's Coach, Tony Harvey, while adding to our 1st XI group with his experience and great cricketing mindset.

We are excited to see Kane flourish this season and set an example for his team mates and peers alike.

TIM MORAN
RE-SIGNED FOR 2026-2027

We are thrilled to announce Tim Moran will captain our 2nd XI side once again in season 2026/27.

After a few seasons playing in the lower grades with his son, Jack, 'Kochie' was appointed 2nd XI captain last season to help guide our young group with the ambition of further strengthening our 1st XI and adding to the large depth we have.

Ultimately, our 2nd XI shone under the leadership of Tim and came away with Premiership Glory, a credit to the commitment, passion and experience Tim brings.

Great to have you back premiership skipper!

We are delighted to announce that Mark Pandya will once again be going around as Vice Captain of our Mens 1st XI for season 2026/27.

Since coming to St. Andrews Mark has been a fantastic addition to not only the 1st XI playing group but he is also a great club man & his onfield performances are complimentary to his leadership and experience, bringing a great sense of pride to our core young group.

Get around Panda for what promises to be another strong season leading our batting attack!

MITCH PLANT
RE-SIGNED FOR 2026-2027

We are thrilled to announce that Mitch Plant will be back at Manson Reserve for Season 2026/27.

A product of our junior program, Mitch has spent his whole career with STA which today sees him as one of the quickest and sharpest fast bowlers in the comp.

Mitch also jets off this week to the UK to join Nonington CC for the English Summer, best of luck Mitchy! We'll be watching and cheering you on.
