Wantirna South Netball Club is associated with Mountain District Netball association We welcome any new members who would like to come play with the club.

We currently have 176 registered members ranging from 11 & under to Open age groups. Please visit our website for more information. We are also looking for Coaches and Umpires if interested please contact us and let us know.

Behind every great netballer is someone in their corner — a mum, grandma, aunt, carer, mentor or special person cheering from the sidelines, offering pep talks, volunteering, coaching, scoring, organising and somehow always making it all happen 💗

Today we celebrate the incredible women and mother figures who help keep our club going — the supporters, chauffeurs, coaches, team managers, committee members… biggest fans and constant encouragers!

And to the awesome mums who also pull on the bib each week and take the court themselves - you are role models and a foundational part of what makes our club such a strong and supportive community 🎀💕🏐

Happy Mother’s Day to all the special women in our netball family. We appreciate you more than words can say 💐

This week we ! Grab something pink and join us for MDNA’s Pink Round this Saturday 9 May, in support of the Breast Cancer Network of Australia! 💖🌸🎀

Here’s what you need to know:

💖 Add some PINK to your fit – from socks to scrunchies, let’s flood the courts in pink to show our support!

💖 Shop & snack – swing by the fundraising stalls for Pink Day merch and some yummy baked goodies. 🍰🛍️

🏐 2026 MDNA Netball Skills Clinic 🏐

This clinic is rep pathway focused and is open to athletes born in 2015 & 2016.

The session forms part of the Ranges Under 11 Representative selection process for 2026, supporting the finalisation of the squad. Athletes will be assessed on core technical skills, movement, coachability, and game fundamentals in a high-performance training environment.

📅 When: Monday, 9 February 2026
⏰ Time: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
📍 Where: Knox Regional Netball Centre

We’re on the hunt for:

🏆 A Grade: Strong mid-court player

🎯 A Res: Goal Shooter / Goal Attack

💪 Open 1: 2 mid-court players + a circle defender

🟢 Open 3 & 4: Multiple players across all positions!

We’re seeking an experienced volunteer coach to join our A Squad coaching team and help lead our top teams to the next level.

This is an exciting chance to work with talented players and shape the next chapter of our high-performance, team-first culture — where hard work, fun and love of the game go hand in hand.

The role:

🏐 Coach A Grade / A Reserve as part of a supportive coaching team
🟢 Saturday matches in Ferntree Gully
⚫️ One weekly training session (Tuesday or Thursday – TBC)
