SAMSEI We believe in empowering people in everything we do. Samsei Martial Arts is the combination of years of training by Sensei Greg and his team.

Our programs include a 6-12 year old Children’s Karate, Teen and Adult Karate, Self-defence classes for Woman will also be coming soon. It incorporates the best elements of Shukokai and Freestyle Karate, Kickboxing, ground grappling and Escrima sticks, all of which Sensei Greg has trained in over the last thirty years. He is also a former Victoria Police Instructor with 24 years of experience. He

specialised in teaching Defensive Tactics, Firearms and Tactical Communications to new and experience Police members. Samsei Martial Arts has 2 free trial classes in all of our programs, so come down, try us out.

Important Message re NO CLASSES TONIGHT

We have just been informed that the water at the hall has been turned off until at least tomorrow due to a leak in one of the pipes between the hall and the hockey centre. This means the toilets and all taps are effected. Due to this we will not run our classes for tonight Monday 17th February. We apologize for the late notice and for any inconvenience caused.

Happy new year to you all! Just a reminder that our first classes back for 2025 will be held next Saturday 11th January. There will be no classes tonight Monday 6th. We look forward to seeing you all next weekend🥋😄

Our Christmas holiday closure dates are as follows. Our last class for this year will be on Saturday 21st December and we will re open as normal on Saturday 11th January. Remember through out the remainder of the school holiday period you can train as many classes as you like.

Hi Everyone.

A reminder that grading day is tomorrow Saturday 23rd November. You have all done gradings before and so know the drill.

Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes early.

No jewellery or watches are to be worn.

Bring all of your current equipment.

Wear full uniform but you can also wear your samsei t-shirt or a plain white t shirt. As it will be a very hot day we will allow t-shirts only after the official bowing in etc. You will still require gi tops for any self defence or ground work.

Make sure you have plenty of water on you.

Junior grading begins at 10 am.

Teen and Adult grading starts at 12 pm.

Only those that have been assessed and received their grading black stripe and returned their forms can grade.

If you are sick and unable to make the grading due to unforeseen circumstances please call us or text on 9884 1195 prior to the start of the grading so as we know not to expect you.

There will be NO OTHER classes running.
