🌟🥋 Confidence needs evidence.
We can tell a child: “You’re amazing.” “You can do it.” “Believe in yourself.”
And sometimes they absolutely need to hear that. 💛
But that’s not just how we grow confidence in our students.
Let them discover what they’re capable of.
Let them try something difficult.
Let them struggle.
Help them.
Let them try again.
And give them the chance to eventually think:
“I didn’t think I could do that… but I did.” 💪
That experience becomes EVIDENCE.
Then another experience gets added.
And another. 🌱
Over time, they build a bank of moments that say:
“I can learn.”
“I can improve.”
“I can handle things that feel difficult.”
That’s why we know that confidence is not something that a child either has or doesn’t have.
Confidence can be practiced. 🥋🌟
One small piece of evidence at a time.
