The 2026 AGM was recently held and was well attended with members voting in ex player and committee member Ryan Lepore as the clubs new President for 2026/27.

We welcome Ryan into the role and in doing so congratulate outgoing president Simon Wilkinson and vice president Linda De Iulio on fantastic stints leading our club off the field for the last few seasons.

We also would like to thank Brendan Dwyer on his tireless hard work looking after our junior program as he now takes the reins recently being appointed as senior club coach.

Club legend Jason Buljubasic ads another notch to his belt after taking up the junior administration role and we know he will give his all.

A really strong committee has been appointed yet again for this coming season and we can’t wait to get the season started!!

Falcons stars shine bright at FTGDCA Presentation Night!

A packed Knox Club hosted the league's end-of-season awards night, and there were many Knox Gardens members stepping up to receive recognition for fantastic individual seasons.

Our ladies led the way in the Division 1 competition, securing 4 spots in the Team of the Season. Kristy Airey, Tearnu Graham, Jeanette Oliver and Jess Bouten were all awarded a place in the side and that now makes it 7 individual players to make the team in only the last 2 seasons!! An incredible achievement and shows the depth we have in this grade.

The night just kept getting bigger for Kristy, who, after a fantastic season with the bat in the top order, claimed the Division 1 Batting Average, scoring over 450 runs!!



It didn’t stop there!

Kristy was also awarded the league’s Best and Fairest for season 2025/26, also named after former Knox Gardens junior, the ‘Tess Flintoff Award’.
A remarkable performance with both bat and ball, not without forgetting her brilliance in the field. Great recognition for a truly exceptional member of our club, both on and off the field, and she will take up the reins as Captain for the 2026/27 season.

The night then finished off with club stalwart Jarrod Butcher earning himself another selection in the Norm Reeves team of the year after once again plundering over 500 runs!!

A fantastic night for the club, and now all eyes are firmly set on an even bigger season in 2026/27.

Monty, what an asset! His contribution spans every part of the club.

Monty has always found a way to contribute and make his mark on the field. But it’s what he has done off the field that truly sets him apart.

From his time on the general committee to his ongoing role as Treasurer, Monty has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to put the club in the strong position it’s in today. The stability and success we enjoy now is a direct result of his care, effort, and commitment - the true master of coin!
