Fantastic racing by Emma today in the U13 girls National 400m final 👏

Em finished in 4th place with a new PB of 59.99!

Both Olivia and Emma ran new PB's in the last few days and we are super proud of both of them 🏆

Wow what a great 400m heat today at Nationals from Olivia and Emma!

Olivia went out fast and led into the home straight - so proud of how she raced! She rose to the occasion and gave it her all and was rewarded with a 1 second PB - she has sliced 7 seconds off her PB since she began training with us just a few short months ago!
Narrowly missing the final by just 0.49 seconds and now ranked 12th in Australia 🇦🇺 🏆

Em ran a good heat and is through to the 400m final!

Well done Olivia and good luck tomorrow Em 🙌

🏆 Australian Champion 🏆

A huge congratulations to Emma on winning the U13 girls 800m at Nationals today 👏 🥇

Emma took the win in a new 4 second PB running an incredible 2 mins 15 secs, and she also bettered the championship record by 4 seconds!!!

Fun fact - Emma's time would have placed her 6th and 7th in the U17 and U18 800m final...she only just turned 12!

Now to rest overnight before the 400m heats tomorrow with her training buddy Olivia ☺️

We had 5 amazing athletes compete recently at NSW Juniors & NSW Little Athletics championships 😃
🏅Katie & Lily were first up at Juniors and both ran exceptional relay legs in the Senior Mac Hunter team.
🏅 Katie finished 23rd in 16's girls 100m & 15th in the long jump.
🏅 Georgia competed in her first Little A's state and made 3 finals in the girls 9 years 70m, 100m and 200m. New PB in the 70m and 200m!
🏅Olivia-Skye ran a brilliant 400m to finish 7th in the 12's girls and ran a National Qualifier!
🏅Emma won the girls 12 years 800m with a 3 second PB and National qualifier and 2nd in the 400m with another National qualifier!

Congrats to all 5 girls. The squad is proud of all your efforts and good luck to Emma and Olivia-Skye heading to Nationals 🙌

So good to have Taiga training with us while he is in the country for a month 😁 It's been 4 years since he was in Australia!
Another week, and he flies back to Japan to continue his professional basketball career 🏀

Katie & Emma competed at the State Little Athletics Championships this weekend and both came away with a PB...or 2!

✨️ Emma competed in the U11 Girls
🥇 800m with a PB
🥈 Discus
4th 400m
4th 1500m

✨️ Katie competed the in U15 Girls
15th Long Jump with a PB
15th Triple Jump with a PB

So proud of both girls - they have both shown resilience leading up to State and throughout the weekend.

Em was not feeling 100% on Saturday and collapsed over the line at the end of the 1500m 😪 A good night's rest, fluids and sheer determination saw her bounce back to win gold & silver today.
Katie wasn't even going to compete at Regionals and here she is smashing PB's and enjoying her sport again. Looking forward to watching her progress this year.

NSW Youth Championships at SOPAC on Saturday was another opportunity for Emma to shine ✨️
🥇 Gold in U11 400m with a PB
🥇 Gold in U11 800m
🥈 Silver in U11 Long Jump with a PB

Incredible results with just 2 hours between races and finished the 800m and straight to long jump.

Congratulations Emma - you keep rising at every comp. Good luck at NSW Little Athletics championships next weekend 😁

Congratulation Emma 👏
A gold medal 🥇at the State Combined carnival held at Glendale on the weekend!

Emma competed in the 11 years girls age which consisted of 100m, 800m, Long jump, shot putt, discus and hurdles. Emma won by an incredible 878 points!

Well done Emma - now preparing for State Little A's champs in a couple of weeks.
