A fantastic afternoon celebrating the achievements of our players across all grades at the Southern Eyre South Cricket Club Presentation Day at the end of March.

It was great to see Trevor 'Bluey' Filmer awarded the Bandy Hull Clubperson of the Year, for his outstanding volunteer efforts.

Congratulations also again to Liam O'Dea & Hamish Rowsell on being awarded Life Membership. It was fantastic to see you both honoured in front of your family & friends.

🏏🦀 Congratulations, Tyree 🦀🏏

We’re incredibly proud to share that Southern Eyre South’s Tyree Burgoyne has been selected to represent South Australia at the 2026 National Indigenous Cricket Championships in Mackay!

Tyree has earned his spot in the SA Boomerangs Men’s squad after an impressive trial performance at Adelaide Oval, where he top-scored with 56. A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved opportunity to showcase his talent on the national stage.

Teams will compete in a round-robin T20 format from 14-19 April, with the exception of Friday 17 April, which has been reserved as a cultural activity day.

All the best in Mackay, Tyree - the whole club is behind you! 💪

Congratulations to our Senior Colts who won their Grand Final this morning, in a ripper game against Tod River Souths Cricket Club.

Batting first, we posted 100 with Bryce Markey & Jimmy Doudle both top scoring for the team, making 18 each.

The team then managed to keep Toddies to 83, with Max Shepperd taking 3 wickets and Chelsea Shepperd, Angas Stoakes & Jarrah Barr all taking 2 each.
