All sessions played at Merriwa Park in Wangaratta

Sunday Social 2:00pm-3:30pm

Tuesday Social 1:00pm-3:00pm

First 3 sessions no cost, after that $10 a session or you can sign up as a member

The Wangaratta Hardcourt Tennis & Pickleball Club is going from strength to strength, with an incredible 250 members and counting! 🎉

Our club is bringing together players of all ages and abilities across both tennis and pickleball, creating a welcoming community where people can get active, meet new friends and enjoy plenty of time on court.

From social tennis and pickleball, juniors and beginners through to competitive matches, DUPR nights, competitions and tournaments — there’s something for everyone.

🏆 SUNDAY COMPETITION | WEEK 1 🏆

What a way to kick off our Spring/Summer Sunday Competition! ☀️🏓

A huge 33 adults + 4 juniors battled it out across 8 courts this morning from 9am–11am, with plenty of great rallies, laughs and competitive pickleball in the sunshine! 🔥

This is only Week 1 of our 13-week competition, running through until December — and we want to see those courts FULL every Sunday! 💪

2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice to Club Members

Members are invited to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Wangaratta Hardcourt Tennis & Pickleball Club.

Date: Friday 23 October 2026
Time: 6:00pm
Venue: The Railyard Wangaratta

The AGM provides an opportunity for members to reflect on the club’s achievements over the past year and to participate in the election of the committee for the coming year.

COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS

Members interested in joining the committee are encouraged to consider putting their hand up. Being involved is a great opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and development of our tennis and pickleball community.

If you are interested in joining the committee or would like to know more about what is involved, please have a chat with a current committee member prior to the AGM.

We’re excited to officially launch Tennis Hot Shots at Wangaratta Hardcourt Tennis & Pickleball Club! 🙌

Designed for kids aged 4–10, Hot Shots is the perfect way for young players to start their tennis journey, learn the fundamentals, build confidence and most importantly… have fun on court! 💪🎾

🏆🔥 MURRAY RIVER CLASSIC II – THE STATS ARE IN! 🏓

What an incredible weekend for our Wangaratta players at Sneaky Cat Pickleball! 💪

🥇 10 Gold medals
🥈 6 Silver medals
🥉 8 Bronze medals
🏅 24 medals overall (37 individual medals)

🔥 88% MEDAL SUCCESS RATE!
Our players won a medal in 22 of the 25 events they entered!

🌟 Standouts included Amelie with 4 medals, Molly with 3, Dameon with 3 and Trudi with 3.

A huge shoutout to all our first-timers who stepped onto the tournament court and gave it a go! Your enthusiasm, courage and smiles made the weekend extra special. We’re so proud of every one of you! 👏😁

And a massive congratulations to our incredible juniors, who represented the club with such skill, confidence and sportsmanship. You were amazing to watch and a real credit to Wangaratta! 🌟🏓
