Well done to our Royal legends!
We watched the Jesters and the Knights hit the rink for the last time for the Winter Comp Grand Final, and what a game it was!! It has been such a pleasure watching every junior grow in skill, confidence and love for the game. Their passion shows every single week, they really are the future of inline hockey and the club; every player should be so proud of what they’ve achieved!

The Jesters took the win on Sunday with a tight 3–2 game against the Knights. Every player skated their hearts out, played with purpose, and showed real dedication to their team. Congratulations, we hope this game becomes a core memory in their inline hockey journey. Playing against your friends can be tough, but every junior handled it with grace, respect and showed great sportsmanship.

The Winter Competition Junior Grand Final is this SUNDAY! We will see the Knights take on the Jesters in what will absolutely be a fast, skillful and high-energy showdown!!

Both teams have worked incredibly hard all season...and now it all comes down to one game! We will be sure to see plenty of speed, determination and excitement, as these young players leave everything on the rink!

The Duchesses and Jesters put on an absolute show!! A game that was fast, skilful & competitive. Every junior gave it 110% with pure heart and passion from the first puck drop to the final siren.

The Jesters came out on top 4–3, proving they’ve got the grit, skill and determination to step up and take on the Knights in the Grand Final.🏅🥅🏒

This was junior hockey at its best...fast, fierce and full of Royals spirit!! 🔥

In our regional town, we don’t have a purpose‑built rink. We have old basketball courts...and every week, we turn them into something special.

Temporary rink walls for game days.
A puck barrier for training.
Handmade sports markers and “Goalies” crafted from old painted tyres.

Some might look at that and see limitations - but we know better, because what we’ve built is everything!
It’s heart.
It’s community.
It’s the foundation of a strong, genuine club culture.
It’s friendships formed on the court and the banter that follows every game.
It’s the love for a sport that’s growing from something real, grassroots, authentic.

And every week, our growth proves it. More kids. More families. More energy. More pride.

The Royals spirit is alive because it’s built by the people who show up, pitch in, and believe in what this club can be. 💛🖤

A huge thankyou to every player who’s jumped in to fill the Ringers team this Winter Comp. You all brought energy, skill and so much passion to every game! It’s been awesome watching both our existing players work on their games, but also see new players that have discovered the game go from Wednesday training to hitting the rink on Sundays!
You should all be so proud of your efforts! Keep training hard and being the Royal legends you all are!! 🥅🏒🔥
