It’s the end of an era!!
Due to me being rushed into surgery, We are now officially closing the doors on Thursday 2nd April!
BUT…..
You have not seen the last of me! (Maniacal laugh!!)
When we are in our new premises and ready go, you will all know about it, mark my words it’s going to be amazing!!

Being an adult means being busy, a constant list of things to do, a revolving never ending chore list🤮🤮🤮

🧡Then it gets to the end of the day, and we often realise we did not do a single thing for ourselves, and we know that tomorrow we have to wake up and do it all over again.

🩷This often leads to one feeling overwhelmed, undervalued, and well sad. So, why not plan in something that is just for you daily? It may be another “thing” on the list, but this one is for you. And you are important.

❤Not only has this shown in psychology that the human experience is overall better when one prioritises things that bring you joy daily, even for just 15 minutes, but it leads to a ripple effect of joy with the rest of that ghastly “to do list”.

🧡Maybe take 5minutes and think about what brings you joy? It may not come to you straight away so, keep it on your mind, take time to slow down, and think about it. Then start planning more moments of joy throughout your day.

🩷Knowing that the daily to do lists are tiring and well life can be too. I try to create a class where you can come and feel cared for, feel seen and hopefully walk out knowing you did something for you, and you feel better for it!

😁Craving a new beef recipe? 😁

Well, look no further - I have the recipe for you! Beef and Cauliflower Stuffed Capsicum- yummy😄😍🥳🤩

Ingredients:
- 4 Large capsicums
- 2 cups of cauliflower florets
- 2 Tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
- Pinch and a sprinkle of salt and 1/2 tsp
- Pinch and a sprinkle of ground pepper
- 1/2 Cup diced onion
- 1kg Lean beef mince
- 1/2 Tsp oregano
- 1 Can of no added salt tomato sauce
- 1/2 Cup mozzarella cheese

Method:
1. Begin by pre heating the oven to 180 c.
2. Slice off the stem ends of the capsicum. Cut the flesh from the stem and chop. You should have about 1 cup, scoop out the seeds, bring about an inch of water to boil in a large pot, with a steamer basket on top. steam the capsicum until they slightly soften, this should take about 3 minutes - then remove the capsicums from the pot and set aside.
3. Place the cauliflower in a food processor and blitz until broken down into rice size pieces. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large fry pan over medium heat. Add the cauliflower rice and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook and stir until softened and starting to break down for about 3 minutes and then transfer to a small bowl.
4. Wipe out the remaining oil in the pan. Add1 tbsp of new oil, adding the copped capsicum and onion. Cook and stir until it all softens. Add the beef mince, garlic, oregano, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Begin stirring, mixing the ingredients together evenly. Add in the tomato sauce, and the cauliflower rice and stir ingredients together until combined and cooked – this should take about 3 minutes.
5. Place the capsicums upright in an 8-inch square baking dish. Fill each one with the mince mixture and top each with mozzarella cheese.
6. Bake until the filling is heated through and the cheese is melted for 20-25 minutes.

Protein is the most important part of our daily diet. Something that is often forgotten about, especially in our western carbohydrate heavy diets. We want to build strong bodies, that are fueled in the way that we feel energised, strong and capable. That doesn't have to mean just in the studio; but for those day-to-day tasks, or even to have the energy and capability to keep up with all that our busy lives entail 🦚

🌸Mama's - it is easy to only feed the family, catering to their needs, but you are just as important!! 🌸
You need protein and the self-care and dedication of it daily. Even if at times that is a protein smoothie or protein waffles to start the day, you start of great, you can then keep the momentum and finish the day off great too.
