Being an adult means being busy, a constant list of things to do, a revolving never ending chore list🤮🤮🤮
🧡Then it gets to the end of the day, and we often realise we did not do a single thing for ourselves, and we know that tomorrow we have to wake up and do it all over again.
🩷This often leads to one feeling overwhelmed, undervalued, and well sad. So, why not plan in something that is just for you daily? It may be another “thing” on the list, but this one is for you. And you are important.
❤Not only has this shown in psychology that the human experience is overall better when one prioritises things that bring you joy daily, even for just 15 minutes, but it leads to a ripple effect of joy with the rest of that ghastly “to do list”.
🧡Maybe take 5minutes and think about what brings you joy? It may not come to you straight away so, keep it on your mind, take time to slow down, and think about it. Then start planning more moments of joy throughout your day.
🩷Knowing that the daily to do lists are tiring and well life can be too. I try to create a class where you can come and feel cared for, feel seen and hopefully walk out knowing you did something for you, and you feel better for it!
