🏌️‍♂️ 39th Engel Pioneer Cup – What a Weekend!

The Walpole Country Club proudly hosted the 39th Engel Pioneer Cup over the weekend of 13–15 March, with players travelling from across Western Australia to compete in one of our biggest events of the year.

The weekend began with the Walpole Hardware Trophy Par competition on Friday, attracting 144 players.

🏆 Winner: Riley Charles (+4) (Pitcured)
🥈 Jack McDonald (+3)
🥉 Greg Hodgson (+2, countback)

The Engel Pioneer Cup 4BBB Stableford followed over Saturday and Sunday, with 204 players competing across two 18-hole rounds.

43 + 49 = 92 points

A huge thank you to all our volunteers, Phil and the grounds team, and everyone who helped make the course and the weekend such a fantastic success for our club and our town.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Friday 13th – Sunday 15th March
The Engel Pioneer Cup is the biggest event of the year at
Walpole Country Club catering for 200 plus Golfers for 3 days.
To make it a success, we are calling for volunteers to help across the three days.
We Need Help With:
• Kitchen Assistance
• Bar Service
• General Event Help (set-up, pack-down, raffles, course support &
more)
Whether you can help for a few hours or a full shift, your support
would be greatly appreciated.
We are proudly volunteer-run Club
