The Walpole Sports and Recreation Centre exists to Promote an Active, Informed and Engaged Community, We strive to create an atmosphere that is Warm, Engaging and Friendly. The Centre offers a wide variety of social sports for adults, seniors and children. There is a variety of fitness classes available suitable for advanced fitness fanatics through to beginners or individuals just starting out. T

he Centre also is available for hire with an approved kitchen, meeting room and sports hall. We also have a wide range of equipment available for hire, chairs, trestle tables, stage and more. The Centre also hosts a well equipped gym available for use on a membership basis only.

Our recent AGM reelected Shaun Isaacs as Chairperson, Damien Burton as Vice Chair, Sonja Burton as Treasurer, Donna O'Brien as Secretary, general committee members Ange Thomas, Brad Durrant, Zahra Ellis and we welcomed Monique Bain onto the committee.

Please feel free to speak to any of us about the Rec Centre. Daily manager Shaun Isaacs is on site each week day 9am-12. The committee sends a big thank you to Shaun for his amazing volunteer effort which is keeping the centre open on a regular basis. We endeavor to reinstate this as a paid role, for now Shauns awesomeness and committee fundraising is bringing some great progress.

Due to unforeseen family circumstances, StarTrack parcel collection at the Walpole Sport & Recreation Centre will be closed tomorrow.
