🏆 Congratulations to Leo and Hudson, who were integral members of the Sydney North Rugby League team that claimed the NSW PSSA State Championship title in Parkes!

The team finished the carnival in outstanding fashion, defeating Sydney East in a hard-fought and highly competitive grand final. Both boys represented Sydney North and Wallarah Zone with skill, determination and pride throughout the tournament.

Adding to the excitement, Hudson has been selected in the 34-player NSW State Squad. He will attend a development camp during the school holidays before the final team of 17 is announced.

Good luck, Hudson, and congratulations to both boys on this fantastic achievement. Wallarah Zone is incredibly proud of your efforts! 💙💛🏉

Yesterday, several talented girls from across our zone attended the Sydney North Rugby 7s trials. Following a skills session led by NSW Rugby Union Development Officers, the girls showcased their abilities, determination and teamwork through a series of competitive games.

Congratulations to **Terauorewa from Blue Haven Public School**, who was successfully selected in the Sydney North Rugby 7s team.

🏉Sydney North Touch Football Trials🏉
Today, selected students proudly represented the Wallarah and Tuggerah Zones at the Sydney North Touch Football Trials.

All students competed with determination, skill and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. The boys' team finished 4th overall, while the girls' team achieved an impressive 2nd place finish.

Congratulations to Terauorewa (Blue Haven PS) and Honey (Kanwal PS), who were selected to play in the Possibles vs Probables match. A special mention to Honey, who was named as a shadow player for the final Sydney North squad.

In exciting news for our zone, Ryder (Blue Haven PS) was successfully selected in the Sydney North Boys Touch Football Team following a highly competitive trial process.

Congratulations to all students on their efforts and achievements. You represented your schools and zone with pride, and we are incredibly proud of you all!

GIRLS RUGBY LEAGUE Congratulations to Terauorewa, Arianah and Havaya, who proudly represented Sydney North at the inaugural NSW PSSA Girls Rugby League Championships.

Over three tough days of competition, the girls showcased outstanding skill, determination and resilience, representing Sydney North with pride and a never-give-up attitude. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they conducted themselves both on and off the field.

A special mention goes to Arianah, who was awarded the prestigious Players' Player Ball. After collecting votes across the seven games of the championship, Arianah was recognised by her teammates for her consistent performances, leadership and sportsmanship – a fantastic achievement and a testament to the respect she has earned from those around her.

Well done, girls! We look forward to following your rugby league journeys in the future.

Touch Football
Due to the predicted weather and ground closures Sydney North touch trials have been postponed until a later date. A new note will be sent to schools as soon as the date is confirmed.

COMBINED SOCCER TRIALS
Unfortunately due to the weather we are going to have to postpone the Combined Soccer Trials scheduled for tomorrow!
The new date for the trial is next week Tuesday the 2nd of June at the same location.

A new note will be issued from school sports coordinators.
