Another weekend of fights this time we had Monique and Ivy representing Victoria and fighting over in New Zealand.
Both had 2 fights in 2 days against good quality opponents. Coming out with a couple of good wins and a couple of learning experiences.

Massive weekend for the gym with fighters fighting over 3 venues over two days.
We had our two amateurs fighting over in Keysborough on Saturday evening both performing well and getting valuable ringtime against quality opponents.
Then we had Kia and Dean fight over in Doncaster on Saturday night. Both took tough fights and performed and represented the gym well.
Lastly on Sunday we had the novices out at Hammers gym all competing at the interclubs giving them a taste of competition. All moved well and showed they are on the way to having their first amateur fights.
Big shoutout to all the coaches Jayme, Dean, Steve, Chris, Bee, Adam, Ivy and Jade that give up their time to coach the fighters competing.
Next stop New Zealand 🇳🇿

What a way to kick off a professional career! 👊🥊

Congratulations to Bajram on a sensational professional debut, stopping his tough and game opponent in the first round with a devastating body attack. The pressure and precision of his body shots proved too much, breaking his opponent’s ribs and bringing the contest to an emphatic end.

Bajram showed exactly why we’re so excited about his future. He has all the tools to go a long way in this sport, and this was the perfect first step in what we believe will be a very exciting professional career.

With the birth of his second child just around the corner, he’ll take some well-earned time to enjoy this special moment with his family before we look to get him back in the ring in November.

Another dominant performance from Danny Doolan, who moves to 2-0 as a professional with his second straight 1st round stoppage. 👊🥊

Danny was faced with a wild, aggressive opponent who came out swinging, but he never let it rattle him. He stayed cool, calm and collected, patiently picking his shots and sticking to the game plan. When the opportunity came, he didn’t miss—landing a vicious body shot that folded his opponent before finishing the job with a heavy head shot.

It’s great to see Danny’s composure and ring IQ continue to develop with every fight. Two fights, two first-round stoppages, and plenty more to come.

Now it’s back to work as we set our sights on another big fight in November.

What a performance from Trav Clare, moving to 2-0 as a professional with an impressive 2nd round stoppage! 🥊

This win makes it even more impressive when you know the circumstances. Trav stepped up on just 2 weeks’ notice, gave away weight and experience, and went into the fight carrying a hand injury. Despite every challenge, he never looked for excuses—he went in, got the job done, and showed exactly what he’s made of.

Trav is a tough, hardworking man who earns everything through grit and determination. We’re incredibly proud of the way he continues to represent himself, his team, and our gym.

We’ll enjoy this win, and then it’s straight back to work as we move onto the next one.

And Newwwww Australian Champion!!!! 🇦🇺🥊

What a night for Jesse Bolt!

Congratulations to Jesse on becoming the Australian Professional Lightweight Champion, making history as our gym’s first professional Australian Champion.

After an outstanding amateur career that included winning an Australian National Championship, Jesse has carried that success into the professional ranks. At just 21 years old, he’s now 5-0 and has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. The sky is truly the limit.

This was exactly the type of fight Jesse needed. He was pushed by a quality, tough opponent who gave him valuable rounds and ring time that he hadn’t experienced in his previous professional bouts. Those hard rounds will only make him a better fighter as he continues to develop.

I’m incredibly proud of the work Jesse has put in to reach this point. This title is another important step forward, and it’s only the beginning.

Now it’s time for a well-earned break before we announce some exciting news about what’s next.

✅ Australian Champion

What an incredible few days in Brisbane at the Australian Boxing Championships.

We were proud to have 10 athletes representing Victoria—more than any other boxing gym in Australia. That’s a testament to the hard work, commitment, and culture we’ve built together.
