🐂 WALLAN PRO RODEO 🐂

This weekend, the Wild West rolled through Wallan as we held our Wallan Pro Rodeo Function!

With great numbers in attendance, plenty of western outfits on show, and the mechanical bull getting a run for its money, it was awesome to see the night be such a success!

Congratulations to Dom Luci, who took out our bull riding competition. Making it through to the final two, Dom defeated Riley Gilchrist to be crowned our champion.

We are also proud to crown Madi Head as our Best Dressed for the night, with Corey Viani finishing as runner-up.

We would again like to thank Pat and the committee for organising and running the event, along with all of the volunteers who helped throughout the night.

We now turn our attention to our next function – our annual $5K Draw on July 4th! 🎉💰

🏉 ROUND 9 RESULTS 🏐

A great weekend for our footballers, with all four sides recording wins, while it was a mixed bag on the netball courts. B Grade unfortunately suffered its first loss of the season, but wins from the 19 & Unders and A Grade keep both teams firmly in the hunt for top spot.

A huge thank you to Steve Bell for organising the MND socks and to Loz Parkinson for running the meat raffle.

We now turn our attention to next weekend as we head to Lancefield to take on the Tigers. 🖤🤍

Road trauma continues to impact communities across Victoria every day. As a football and netball club, we know the importance of looking after our teammates, friends, family and community both on and off the field.

as we hit the roads we encourage everyone to make safe choices:

✅ Slow down and drive to the conditions

✅ Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs

✅ Avoid distractions behind the wheel

✅ Wear your seatbelt

✅ Look out for one another

Every decision we make on the road has the potential to make a difference. Let's all do our part to ensure everyone gets home safely.

Enjoy the game, Plan ahead, Have a designated
driver or alternative transport option organised to get home safely.

This weekend we will be holding a meat tray raffle to raise some money for our upcoming ladies day!

The prices are as follows:

🎟️ 1 for $2
🎟️ 3 for $5
🎟️ 7 for $10

If you’re interested in tickets we will have people walking around Saturday or head up to the bar tonight or anytime Saturday!

The winner will be announced at the conclusion for the senior game Saturday 🤍🖤
