Wests Tigers Mixed Pairs winners once again is the indomitable pairing of Julie Leach and Ron Warnes. They beat the indefatigable Dave Pinkard and Jennie Dray 25-15 on a day where “draw not drive” decided the fixture. Well done to all and see you all next year.

2026 Senior Singles champion is once again, the ever-consistent, Paul Muscat. His tenacity was on display when he persevered 25-14 over Ron Warnes who was in the game early. Ron had no answer after Paul picked up 11 shots in four ends to put the result out of reach and scored a thoroughly-deserved win.

Our well-known warehouse bowler Rob Russett is about to shave his beard for charity. Rob has lived with his beard for most of his adult life but is about to shave it for the Cancer Foundation. Gutter Mouths, this season’s warehouse bowls winners, generously donated their $300 winnings back to the club to be auctioned for Rob’s charity and a substantial amount of $1035 was raised. Thank you to all and continue to support Rob.

A fighting Darryl Cowan came up short against Mr Tenacious, Phil Blackburn, in the final of the A Singles at Wests Tigers on Saturday afternoon. Phil (current district singles champion) showed his class and experience to out-draw Darryl from the start. Well done guys - you are a credit to Wests Tigers Bowls Club.
