84-year-old, Jacqui Calandra, has been a member of Millennium Health Club Waitara for over 20 years, and her story is truly inspiring.
Recently returning from Vancouver with a gold medal after completing another half marathon, Jacqui continues to challenge herself and stay active. She started running at 60 and hasn’t slowed down since.
In this video, she shares her journey with her PT Mel Clark, who she has trained with for 18 years, reflecting on the strength, consistency and purpose that keeps her moving forward.
Her story goes beyond fitness, shaped by her role as a full-time carer for her son Matthew, as well as her love for travel, reading, and life’s purpose. She is the definition of resilience.
