A huge congratulations to Indy and the Riverland U15s on winning the Division 2 Grand Final at the South Australian Country Championships! 🎉
The SA Country Championships is South Australia’s largest netball event, held annually since 1936, with around 1,000 players from 26 country associations competing across the weekend.
What an incredible achievement by all three Riverland teams, who each made finals. The U15s played an outstanding 14 games throughout the championship before claiming the Division 2 Premiership with a Grand Final victory over Mid Hills.
As Vice Captain, Indy played a pivotal role in the team’s success. Her work in the defensive circle was outstanding, taking numerous intercepts and applying relentless pressure throughout the weekend. Along with her on-court performances, Indy showed exceptional leadership and sportsmanship, setting a fantastic example for her teammates both on and off the court.
