SIRRA is seeking Expressions of Interest for a One-Day Practical Referee Program, to be held in early 2027 (February–March).

The program will be held at locations where there is sufficient demand and will cover the basic Laws of the Game, player safety and practical refereeing skills.

The program is open to parents and former players aged 14 and over, with or without previous refereeing experience. It is a great opportunity for anyone interested in getting started in refereeing or looking to refresh and develop their skills.

Clubs are encouraged to share the EOI with any members who may be interested.

Huge congratulations to Amelia Galloway on her selection in the U18 ACT Brumbies Women’s squad! 🐴💛 Running out and ripping in at the Provincial XVs this weekend. Playing in 30 degree heat, the girls delivered some highly skilled and exciting rugby. The future of women’s rugby is very bright 💫

Super 7s brings clubs from across Southern Inland, South Coast, Monaro, ACT and surrounding regions together for a huge weekend of Junior 7s action. Day 1 will feature selected games under lights, creating a unique atmosphere and an exciting start to the weekend.

2026 SIRU JUNIOR MEMBER SURVEY

SIRU is seeking feedback from our Junior Rugby community to help shape the 2027 season and future SIRU Junior competitions.

The survey provides an opportunity for players, parents, coaches, managers, volunteers and other members of our Junior Rugby community to share their experiences and provide feedback on areas including competition structure, representative rugby, communication, registration, coaching, refereeing, competition rules, facilities and the overall Junior Rugby experience during the 2026 season.

Your feedback is important and will help SIRU and our clubs identify areas for improvement and future development. Survey responses will be shared with the SIRU Board, SIRU Strategic Plan Sub-Committee and Junior Clubs to assist with planning for the 2027 season and beyond.
