We are currently seeking 2x administration assistants to work the front counter and assist the CEO in the day to day operations of the DUBBO LOCAL ABORIGINAL LAND COUNCIL to protect the interests of the local Aboriginal community under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.

You will be a recognised Aboriginal person of the Dubbo community and have demonstrated experience in front office and reception with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in this field.

You will be required to have strong communication skills and understanding of conflict of interest. As well as connection to community, you will have knowledge of the cultural, social and economic needs of Aboriginal people.

Must have a driver's licence,
Working with Children Check, be willing to undertake a National Criminal Check (as per NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act).

You must have knowledge and experience of MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Word. You must have strong phone etiquette, ability to manage and prepare bookings (scheduling appointments/meetings and events), undertake tasks as directed by the CEO and meet deadlines.

Ability to follow WHS, and organisation policies and procedures. You will have a passion for assisting Mob and Community towards achieving positive outcomes and experience working with vulnerable people.

This is an identified position. Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification under Section 14 of the anti-discrimination Act 1977 NSW.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am - 4pm and may vary from 3 to 35 hours per week on a rotating roster. Some weekends and nights may be required.

Our client is the manufacturer of concrete railway sleepers located in the industrial estate of Bomen NSW.

They are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Forklift Drivers and Production Operators for their manufacturing facility.

Duties for the operators include the production of concrete sleepers to meet production targets and to satisfy quality levels.

Duties for the forklift driver includes operation of 2.5T, 8T, 12 and 13.5T forklifts, loading and unloading trucks and general forklift duties around the plant.
