The Rules Club Bowling members pride themselves on having access to our world class bowling facilities including two championship greens which are kept in immaculate condition by our team of green keepers. Are you looking for a fun an

d inexpensive way to bond with your colleagues? Why not grab a few work mates, a few drinks and get ready for a great time on the bowling green while you take on other local businesses in our After Five Bowls competition! Run twice a year, and now incorporating live entertainment on the Terrace. The four-week competition includes lucky draw prizes and weekly awards.

We had 40 players on the green yesterday for our Wednesday social bowls. There were six games of triples and one game of pairs. A lot of close games over the 7 rinks.
Winners of the day were Joy Robbins and Mark Pearce.
Second place Bill Wilson, Mick Mahon and Terry Rosewall.
Third place Geoff Rainbird, Graham Heath and Marcus Pim.
Tomorrow is our nominated pairs day.

June Monthly Pairs – Wolves Den

With the sun shining and the greens running beautifully as always, it was another fantastic day at the Wolves Den for the June Monthly Pairs.

A strong field of 22 teams battled it out for the prize money, with plenty of close contests throughout the day. When the dust settled, three teams remained undefeated, winning all of their games and sharing in the spoils.

Open club triples semi finals done so we are down to the last 2 teams.
Phil Cross, Strop and Harry Conroy will take on Paul Wilson, Terry Rosewall and Ian Whybrow in the final next Saturday at 1.30pm.
Harry defeated Darren 16 to 9 and Ian defeated Reggie 20 to 11 in the semi finals.
