Wagga City Wanderers Wagga City Wanderers is the Riverina's most elite pathway in Football currently competing in the Cap Players must make sacrifices to achieve their goals.

Wagga City Wanderers FC was founded in 2014 with the view of offering an opportunity for up and coming players to perform at a higher standard. Our aim is to nurture and develop as many excellent “local” footballers as possible. Our newly formed staff have given considerable time and commitment to help develop a program to achieve this as we all have the one common aim and that is to give each and

every player the best possible chance, of one day becoming a player in the A-league, International level and abroad. For players to achieve their utmost potential they must give 100% at every session and match. They must show dedication to their footballing education whilst balancing work or school so that neither suffers. We ask all players to practice as much as possible out side of training as every touch of the ball will make a difference. Repetition of the key techniques and skills is paramount to player’s improvement and this is applicable to all ages. Wagga City Wanderers will do all it can to help players to achieve their personal goals. Very little is obtained without hard work, perseverance and sacrifice, regardless of how tedious or difficult the objective may seem. Players must understand that the coaching body of the club will develop a style to play in a certain way. We expect that all players will embrace this philosophy as it develops. At all times we show respect to our opposition in victory or defeat, with any such result being achieved by playing our way. It is impeccable that all should respect ones colleagues, opposition, officials, coaches and most of all oneself. Enjoy the opportunity that is being offered to you. If this is not possible then maybe we are not the club for you. Keep in mind that not everyone will succeed. The club will aim to make the correct decisions for each individual player. Regardless of the outcomes, we want every player who trials or plays in our club to enjoy there time with fondness and a sense of pride.
