South Wagga Football Club Official page of the South Wagga Warriors Football Club Founded in 2000, South Wagga’s inaugural year was the 2001 season.

With a home ground based at the showgrounds in central Wagga Wagga, the Warriors are a proud club who play in green, white and black. From humble beginnings, the club has grown rapidly during the past few years to now include a full suite of senior teams. Excitingly, they have a junior base on the rise with teams represented in under 5’s through to under 16’s. We pride ourselves on being a family

friendly and sociable club and the doors are always open to new players irrespective of their ability or background. In recent times, the Warriors have tasted some success with the Men’s team winning the Pascoe plate final and the Women’s team grand-finalists in the Madden Cup for the 2019 season. With a young and enthusiastic committee and solid core of committed players, supporters and sponsors; the Warriors are set to make a major impact on the 2022 season.

Looking for a fun, social, and flexible way to play football without the commitment of a full winter season? This brand-new 7-a-side competition is designed for women and girls U16 & up wanting to enjoy the game in a relaxed Friday night environment.

🕕 Friday night kick-off from 6:00 PM
👥 Maximum squad size: 11 players

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT FOR MINIROOS COACHES!
Club members will be at the Showground on Wednesday 29th April from 5-6pm with team kit bags to collect for 2026.

Any club members (seniors, juniors or miniroos) will be able to purchase South Wagga shorts on the same day (29th April from 5-6pm). South Wagga will also be selling shorts at the Bolton Park canteen on Saturday 2nd May (Round 1 of miniroos) for those willing to purchase. Shorts are $15 with cash or card options available.
