8 years in the fitness industry... and it’s been anything but linear.

I started training at 14, going to the gym with my mum. In Year 10, I picked fitness as an elective, then left school to do a PT traineeship. I was hooked.

Then COVID hit. Gyms shut. Everything paused.
I started running group sessions outdoors, and for the first time, I realised—I have the potential to make this my own. When the gyms opened back up again, it just didn't feel right.

Leaving this job was challenging, and I didn't have anything lined up when I left. To my surprise, I was approached by a fitness studio in the same week. I was coaching back-to-back classes, and the community there reminded me why I became a coach in the first place. I fell in love with it again.

In 2021, after years of pain and being ignored by the medical system, I finally had surgery for endometriosis. What was meant to be routine turned serious—my heart stopped during the procedure, and I had to be resuscitated.

Physically, I recovered. But mentally, I didn’t realise how much it had impacted me. I was flat, disconnected and tired all the time. I kept pushing through like I always had, but in truth, I wasn’t okay. Eventually doing this led me to step away from fitness altogether.

I worked in real estate for over a year—and honestly, I really enjoyed it. It taught me structure, time management and focus. During that time, I hired a coach. I started training consistently again—not for work, but for me. I felt strong, healthy, and like myself again. That’s when I knew—fitness was always going to be my path.

Now, I manage Anytime Fitness part-time, I’m studying nutrition, and I’m building The Glow Project—a business that reflects my own messy, real, evolving journey. It’s about mindset, structure, health, strength, and confidence.

I’ve doubted myself more times than I can count.
I’ve felt like an imposter.
But I’ve always come back.

I’m not perfect. But I'm resilient. I’m here to help women like me glow no matter what they've got going on.

Save this recipe next time you plan to do meal prep!

It's simple, yum and I've spent the time so you don't have to break down the recipe into 1 serving so you can multiply by however many servings you want - and the macros are all there, so you don't have to spend a lifetime in my fitness pal creating a recipe ;)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oil in a large saucepan and sauté onion, celery, and carrot until tender. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
2. Add beef mince and cook until brown.
3. Add mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes.
4. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
5. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
6. Cook pasta according to package directions.
7. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Pour over the bolognese sauce.
8. Add chopped parsley and stir to coat the pasta.
9. Top with grated parmesan and serve.

INGREDIENTS:
Basil (5 Leaves)
Brown Onion, 20 g
Celery, 30g
Carrot, 30 g
Mushrooms, 20 g
Balsamic vinegar, 0.5 tbsp
Coles Extra Lean Mince - 150 g
San Remo Pasta Pro - 50g
Olive Oil, 0.2 tbsp
Tomato paste, 0.5 tbsp
Garlic, 0.5 clove
Salt, 0.01 tsp
(Can) Chopped Tomatoes 50g
