Champion of Champions 🏆
Over the weekend, Narrandera Imperial Football - Netball Senior and Junior Club and Coleambally Football Netball Club Under 16's, joined by a couple of eligible Under 18's players, proudly represented AFL Riverina at the Champion of Champions Carnival in Canberra.
After four games on Saturday, Narrandera and Coleambally finished second and third, setting up a South West Juniors Grand Final rematch on Sunday morning. After a great contest between the two sides, Narrandera progressed to the Grand Final, where they unfortunately went down to a talented Eastlake Demons side.
Congratulations to all our players on your performances and sportsmanship across the weekend. You represented your Clubs and Communities with pride and showcased the incredible talent we have within AFL Riverina.
Congratulations also to AFL Riverina umpires Brock Cunningham and Declan Johnstone, who were selected to officiate matches across the weekend. A fantastic achievement and another great representation of AFL Riverina at the carnival.
A huge thank you to our volunteers, coaches, team managers and parents for making the weekend possible and supporting our players throughout the carnival.
