There’s a great story behind this pub…

The site has been part of Wandong’s pub history for well over a century. The original **Travellers Rest Hotel** stood here from the 1800s until it was destroyed by fire in 1933. Wandong then spent **61 years without a pub**, before the Magpie & Stump opened on the same site in 1994. 🔥➡️🍻

Today, the Magpie & Stump is a true traditional Aussie country pub, offering great pub meals, cold drinks, a b**r garden, alfresco dining and plenty of space to relax after a day on the road.

And for riders, Wandong makes a great stop on a ride through the Victorian countryside, with plenty of country roads and regional towns to explore along the way. 🏍️💨
