Lachie again! 👏

This time Lachie has been selected to represent New South Wales at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup (ACJBC).

UNDER 16’s + UNDER 18’s COUNTRY PERFORMANCE PATHWAY ANNOUNCEMENT | ACJBC

Congratulations to the Under 16 & Under 18 Country athletes who have been selected to represent New South Wales at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup (ACJBC), following our Performance Pathway Trials. The selected athletes will travel to Albury to compete from 10th–16th January, 2027.

From this event, the U18 NSW Country Boys and Girls State teams will be selected.

The Basketball NSW team will be in contact with the selected athletes in the next few weeks.

UNDER 16’s + 18’s COUNTRY & METRO PERFORMANCE PATHWAY ANNOUNCEMENT | D-LEAGUE

Congratulations to the following U16s & U18s Country and Metro athletes who have been selected to play in the D-League tournament in September.

The aim of the D-League is to identify talented players and coaches from Country and Metro NSW, who are competing and coaching within the NSW Waratah Junior Leagues and assist with their development by having them train, play and coach with and against each other in a tournament-style environment.

The Basketball NSW team will be in contact with the selected athletes in the next few weeks.

Congratulations to Cathy Edwards and Loren Roy, recipients of Wagga Wagga Basketball Outstanding Service Awards.

Both Cathy and Loren have made an enormous contribution to Wagga Basketball over many years, giving countless hours across a range of roles both on and off the court.
