Aussie Hoops registration for Term 3 - 2026 is now open!

Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia's official introductory program combining skill development with game play and providing a fun and inclusive basketball experience for 4 - 10 year olds.

Wagga Basketball is offering two session timings on, both are open to all ages from 4 to 10 years:

· Monday afternoons
· Session 1 - 4:30pm to 5:15pm
· Session 2 - 5:30pm to 6:15pm

Start date: Monday 27th July
Last session: Monday 25th September

Congratulations to our newest Black and White striped referee, Carter Lewis! 🖤🤍

Carter has been working hard every game to improve and has put the time in to get himself to the next level. We look forward to seeing Carter continue to grow in his referee career!

Registration for the NAIDOC DEADLY 3X3 Basketball Gala Day is now open!

Wagga's Massive NAIDOC DEADLY 3X3 Basketball Gala Day is back in 2026!
Coming this school holidays on Wednesday 8th July!

In partnership with Mawang Gaway, this Basketball NSW event is aimed to provide an opportunity for members of the community to try basketball and connect with others in a fun and inclusive day celebrating the meaning of NAIDOC through basketball. Skills sessions for young first timers and a 3x3 basketball tournament for all. All skill levels and abilities are welcome.

Age Groups/Divisions
Skills session for 5-9 year olds
Born 2017/16/15 = U12's
Born 2014 & 2013 = U14's
Born 2012 & 2011 = U16's
Born 2010 & earlier = Opens

You can expect
→ 3X3 Basketball Games
→ Vertical Jump Competition
→ Indigenous Cultural Experience
→ Free haircuts by Barber Lounge Kooringal Mall Waggawagga
→ Free braiding and face painting
→ Loads of off court activities
→ DJ with music all day
→ Free Hot Dogs and refreshments available at event

Everyone is welcome, the event is free but registration is required.
