They say there are ups and downs in the horse industry, and this week we have certainly felt the lows 💔
The devastating loss of Mataranka Park bred Hollywood Strip has left us all heartbroken.
Whilst Buster was destined for great things, having already won multiple Group 1s and 13 of his 15 starts, the impact he had on our family was so much more than what he achieved on the track. From the minute he was born, he was the kindest horse with the most beautiful nature. Anyone who came into contact with Buster would vouch for this.
Our thoughts are with owner Mick Boots, trainer Brad Hewitt and the Hewitt family, we know you loved him as much as we did 💗
It has been a tough few months for the team at Mataranka Park, having had to say goodbye to multiple family favourites who we miss dearly 🤍
