Be Happy Mach: A Young Sire Making All the Right Moves.

Be Happy Mach is emerging as one of the most exciting young stallions in the Australian pacing ranks, and his first commercial crop is wasting no time proving why.

On Tuesday, April 22, his two‑year‑old filly Machzine Mahoney delivered a sharp Bathurst victory, becoming his third individual winner from limited early runners. She joins Be Better, successful at Coolamon on Sunday, and Nangara Tulhurst, giving the son of Mach Three a fast‑building strike‑rate that breeders are taking notice of.

Standing at Jake Stockton’s Windgate Farm at Alfredtown near Wagga (NSW), Be Happy Mach has already produced nine runners from a debut crop of 46, and his early results have propelled him to the top of the first‑season sires’ list.

And the momentum is no surprise. Be Happy Mach was a genuine juvenile star — winning 10 of his 11 starts at two, including two Group 1 victories in the Breeders Crown and the NSW Breeders Challenge. His career was cut short after just one start at three due to injury, but his brilliance is now being stamped unmistakably on his progeny.

Apart from being by Mach Three, and his greatest stakes-winning juvenile, Be Happy Mach is from the Washington VC mare Behappysam who has produced three Stakes winners and one of New Zealand’s leading classic-winning families.
