🏆2026 LADIES MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS🏆

Our 2026 Ladies Matchplay Championships have officially come to an end, and what a fantastic competition it has been!

A huge congratulations to Kiara Frohmuller, who has been crowned our 2026 Ladies Matchplay Champion after defeating Nadine Hall 2/1 in the final. 🏆👏

Kiara played some fantastic golf throughout the championships, making her way through the draw and finishing it off with a well-earned victory in the final.

We’d also like to congratulate Nadine Hall on a brilliant championship and a fantastic effort making it all the way through to the final. 🩷

A big thank you and well done to all of our ladies who competed this year. It’s always wonderful to see our members out on the course enjoying some friendly competition, supporting one another and showing great sportsmanship along the way.

⛳️💚 THANK A SUPERINTENDENT DAY 💚⛳️

Today we’d like to recognise and say a very special thank you to our Course Superintendent, Matt.

There’s so much that goes into maintaining a golf course that most people never get to see. The early mornings, long days, planning, problem-solving and constant care that goes into every part of the course and Matt is right there behind it all.

His dedication and pride in Wolston Park can be seen across the course, from the everyday presentation to the improvements and projects that continue to make our course better.

Matt also leads an incredible grounds team, and together they put in a huge amount of work behind the scenes to give our members and visitors a course they can enjoy and be proud of.

Thank you, Matt, for your hard work, leadership and everything you put into Wolston Park Golf Club.

We’re very lucky to have you. 💚⛳️

And of course, a big thank you to the entire grounds crew who work alongside him every day. 👏🌿

Here at Wolston Park, we’re more than just a golf club, we’re a little family, and we’re very lucky to have people like Deon as part of ours.

Thank you for all the hard work, care and effort you put in behind the scenes to keep our course looking beautiful for our members and visitors.

Your contribution to our club certainly doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. 💚

Today is a very special and bittersweet day here at Wolston Park Golf Club. 💙⛳️

At 93 years young, and our eldest member, our wonderful Jim Quinn is officially retiring from golf after an incredible 44 years as a member of Wolston Park, having joined the club back in 1982.

For more than four decades, Jim has been part of the fabric of our club, enjoying countless rounds, friendships, laughs and memories along the way.

It’s hard to imagine Wolston Park without him out on the course. 🥹

And in true Jim fashion, he managed to squeeze in one more win before hanging up the clubs, taking home second prize in our Father’s Day raffle on Sunday, a carton of ###X! 🍻😂 We couldn’t think of a more deserving winner.

Jim, thank you for 44 wonderful years of loyalty, friendship and support. It has been an absolute privilege having you as part of our club.
93 years young, 44 years a member and a lifetime of memories. 💙⛳️

You may be retiring from golf, Jim, but you’ll always be part of the Wolly Park family. 🍻❤️

🌸 SPRING IS HERE! 🌸

Tomorrow marks the first day of Spring, and with the warmer days and longer afternoons on the way, we’re extending our Clubhouse hours! ☀️⛳️

Our new opening hours start tomorrow, 1st September:
Monday–Thursday: 9am–5pm
Friday & Saturday: 9am–6pm
Sunday: 9am–5pm

More time to stop in for a snack or a cold drink & enjoy the Clubhouse. 🍻🌿

Here’s to warmer weather, longer days and plenty of great times at the club this Spring! 💚⛳️
