Statesman & 125 Statesman Classes

🚨 125 Statesman Class 🚨

The 125 Statesman class will be run in conjunction with the 2026 Mick Bright Memorial on Saturday!

Class Details:
🔹 125 class rules as per the DKoA Rule Book.
🔹 Minimum combined weight: 150kg.
🔹 No maximum kart weight.
🔹 Drivers must be 45 years of age or older at the close of nominations.
🔹 Drivers cannot compete in both the 125 Statesman class and a regular 125 class at this event.
🔹 Drivers competing in the 125 Statesman class are not eligible for a probationary signature.
🔹 Participation in the 125 Statesman class will not count towards title qualification.

📅 AGM DATE: 10TH OCTOBER 2026

Our AGM is fast approaching, and we have a number of committee positions coming up for renewal and voting.

We’re looking for some fresh faces, new ideas and members willing to put their hand up to help our club continue to grow and build on the success of the outgoing committee. 🙌

🏁 POSITIONS UP FOR ELECTION

Vice President — 2-year term
Club Secretary — 2-year term
President — 1-year term (currently held in a caretaker position)
Nominations Secretary

There will also be a General Committee position that will need to be filled. Nominations for this position will be called for during the AGM.

🗳️ NOMINATIONS & VOTING

Any eligible club member is welcome to nominate themselves for a position.

Nominations will need to be accepted and seconded by two club members who are not related to the nominee.

📩 Nominations need to be sent back to me by 5:00pm Sunday, 4th October 2026.

Members, please check your email for the nomination form.

If more than one person nominates for any position, a silent vote will be conducted during the AGM to determine the successful candidate.

If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, stepping into a committee role or simply looking for a way to contribute to your club — now is the time! 💙🏁

Being part of the committee is a great opportunity to have your say, help shape the future of ADKC and give back to the club we all love.

🏁 MINI JAM 2026 — WHAT A DAY! 🏁

After what has been an extremely tough season with so many washouts, we finally hit the track today for the first time since April!

Of course, Mother Nature still wanted to try and rain on our parade, throwing a heavy downpour at us just before the karts were due on track and delaying the start. 🌧️

But our track crew worked an absolute miracle! 🙌 With the help of some strong wind, the track dried out enough and we were finally able to get karts on track! 🏁

From there, the racing was awesome! Our future stars, the Rookies and Midgets, put on an incredible day of racing and showed just how much skill they are developing. We’re sure there will be a few sore little arms tonight, with both classes completing 50 laps each! 😮👏

We also had some special awards handed out across both classes — check them out in the photos! 📸 Congratulations to all our recipients and well done to every Rookie and Midget who took to the track today! Brodie From Pitt Lane Parts, also donated some cool prizes for the classes well done these deserving winners.

Our Junior and Senior racing was just as intense, with some seriously fast and competitive racing throughout the day. 🏎️💨

🏆 Winner-take-all final results are in the photos, well done to the place getters!🏁

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible — our volunteers, officials, track crew, competitors, families and everyone who stuck with us through the washouts. It was fantastic to finally see the karts back on track! And a Special mention to Matt from MBald Services for sponsoring the event!

And just like that, with one meeting finally in the books, we turn our attention to the next one…
