🌊 We’re Hiring – Swim Teacher 💙

With Term 4 just around the corner, we’ve had so many families keen to book their little ones into swimming that I’m looking to bring another teacher (or possibly two!) on board at Salty Swim School.

It’s so exciting to see how much interest there is for the upcoming season, but I need some extra hands in the water to make sure we can fit everyone in! 🥰

I’m looking for an experienced, qualified swim teacher to join our small, supportive ocean swim school on a casual/part-time basis.

The role:
• 5–15 hours per week
• Morning and/or afternoon shifts
• Term 4, Term 1 & summer holidays (October–April)

You’ll need:
• AUSTSWIM qualification
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Minimum 2 years swim teaching experience

This is a great opportunity for a teacher who wants to step away from busy indoor pools and be part of a smaller, more personal swim school, teaching little ones and families in the environment they’re ultimately learning for: the ocean 🐬🌊

☀️ The weather is warming up, which means summer swimming is just around the corner! 🏊‍♀️💦

If you’re thinking about getting your little bub started with swimming this summer, I highly recommend getting started at home first with some of the beginner skills from my book. 💙

I’ve put the book on sale and have attached a screenshot of the first skill to practise, so everyone can get started straight away! 🛁👶

I really can’t say enough about how valuable it is to practise these simple skills at home in the bath. It helps your little one become familiar and comfortable with the water before they even get to their swimming lessons.

And I have to say, I’ve definitely been enjoying practising these skills with my own little bub! 🥰

The more comfortable and confident they become with these early skills at home, the more they can get out of their swimming lessons when they start.

I’m so excited for the warmer weather and can’t wait to see all our new and returning bubs and kids this year! 💦❤️

🌊 Bubs n Us classes are open! 🌊

Our Bubs n Us program is the perfect way to introduce your little one to the ocean in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. With levels tailored for each stage of development, you’ll enjoy songs, games, and activities that build confidence in (and around) the water. 💙

✨ New this term: Foundations!
This special class is for babies under 9 months and includes a meet-up, guidance on early water skills, how to practice at home, and shorter in water time.
