The VBAC will hold the September fishing competition from Friday 11th September starting at
6.00am through to Sunday 13th September at 3.00pm. You can weigh in your catch from 4.00 - 6.00pm on the Friday and Saturday with final weigh in on the Sunday between 2.30-3.00 pm
when the winners will be announced. 1st Prize is a $100 voucher from Inverloch Fishing and
Outdoors and 2nd prize is a $50 voucher from The Riverview Hotel.
The BBQ will be held at Gerald's Shed from 6.00pm on the Saturday with lots of raffle prizes. Non members can
join in for $5 which includes entry to the competition and the BBQ but you need to register by contacting one of
our members on the Website or send a message on this page. We ask that you bring along a salad or dessert to share. If you're interested at all in
joining the Angling Club come along and meet some members at the BBQ Saturday night or just call by during the
weigh in for a chat. Membership is $50.00 for a family and $40.00 for a single.

Winner of the August fishing comp was Matthew Bell with a salmon weighing in at 1260g. Matt wins a $100 voucher from Inverloch Fishing and Outdoors . 2nd prize of a $50 voucher from Riverview Hotel was Julian Roza with a flathead, 660g. Well done guys.

Yesterday Logan headed out off Inverloch solo in his tinny and landed a ripper of a Bluefin Tuna a bullet head skirt in Paris behind the spreader.
What an effort all on his own, well done mate.

The weather during the July competition was a mixture, with Friday bringing beautiful sunshine and calm waters, followed by a blustery and cold Saturday. Nevertheless there were 2 members who braved the conditions. Matthew Bell weighed in a few good sized salmon with the winning fish being 2.06kg. Matthew wins the $100 voucher from Inverloch Fishing and Outdoors. Dale Kempson took out 2nd prize with a 1.12kg salmon and wins a $50 voucher from the Riverview Hotel. Next comp is 14th-16th August

Last night's Club BBQ was a resounding success with a full house, an array of tasty dishes, and plenty of enjoyable conversation. Thanks to all who attended for making it a fun night. And it was nice to see the fellas in the kitchen!
