A three round war that brought the crowd to their feet and a raise of the hand for Charlie, taking him to 2-0.
Charlie showed growth from his debut, landing a diverse range of shots on the feet, securing takedowns, and on the ground was successful with sweeps and reversals, which gave him the opportunity for a few solid submission attempts.
His opponent Trent has our utmost respect. A granite chin with zero quit in him. He certainly has won us as fans and we’re looking forward to watching him compete again in the future.
Many of the KPI’s we set were achieved, but this game has a great knack of kicking you in the ass if you rest on your laurels. We’ve come out of this contest with plenty more to improve on, that the next level demands.
