Hervey Bay parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Lions Park, Urangan. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Hervey Bay parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Hervey Bay, QLD, Australia. Hervey Bay parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 4 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Burrum Heads Beach parkrun is still looking for volunteers for this Saturday. They also need a park walker in addition the positions on the poster.

If you’re yet to get out there and take part at our cousin course, this is a great opportunity to walk 5km predominantly along the beach. Please contact them directly through Facebook Messenger post if you can help out.
