Round 2 of the Buraja Tennis.
Oaklands were due to play Daysdale. After a storm moving through Oaklands they called it a wet match. No one took the court.
Urana played Coreen at Urana . After a brief blackout with the main lights, we were into the tennis. A great social hit with some highlight smashes.
Urana had a win and celebrated a birthday. Happy Birthday Bill!

Buraja Tennis Competition is back for the 2025-2026 season.
Last night Oaklands and Urana played at Oaklands. Was great to brush the dust of the racquets and have a hit. It was top quality tennis with some high end smashes and a stack on the court. Let’s just say there were lots of deuces played. Also great to see new faces playing for Oaklands. Urana came home the winners in the end. BOC Oaklands- Georgie, BOC Urana- Damien

Daysdale and Coreen faced each other at Daysdale. Some close sets were played and lots of fun to be had. Great to see both teams bringing in some old and new players to keep this competition alive. Coreen won the overall games. BOC Daysdale-Phillip, BOC Coreen- Steph

BURAJA TENNIS GRAND FINAL
Tonight all teams came together in Urana to play for the A grade and A reserve shields.
It was great to see the true spirit of small towns tonight, helping each other out to ensure we had players on the courts.

Urana were successful against Coreen and won the A Grade.
BOC Urana- Damien
BOC Coreen- Charlotte

Oaklands came home strong against Daysdale and won the A Reserve.
BOC Oaklands- Dennis
BOC Daysdale- Lauren

We even celebrated a special 21st birthday tonight! Happy Birthday Charlie.

Thank you to our Club President Des, Vice President Jack and Secretary/Treasurer Katrina who play a huge role in keeping the competition running.

Thank you to all players who have taken the court this season, regardless of the team you are playing for to keep tennis alive in our small communities.

BURAJA TENNIS
Tennis is back on for the second half of the season.
Urana and Coreen played a catch up game tonight in Urana. Urana had a few new players on the court tonight holding up the side. Coreen were too strong for Urana and came away with the win.
BOC for Urana- Mia
BOC for Coreen- Max

Daysdale and Oaklands had a draw for their game at the end of last season. Both sides were busy with other commitments.

BURAJA TENNIS ROUND 3
Young and old were out on the courts again last night, challenging each other across the net.

Urana played Daysdale at Urana. It was a great catch up with a few seniors making their comeback from last season. It was also fantastic to see our youth holding up the running end of the game. Urana won the most games for the night.

Oaklands and Coreen matched up on Oaklands turf.
I’ve heard the competition was high stakes, and some great rallies occurred. Coreen were successful in winning the most games overall.
