It is a friendly club with two well-maintained greens for competition and social lawn bowls. Visitors whether local or international, as well as new bowlers, are always very welcome. THE NEW MEMBERS JUST KEEP COMING!

What an exciting few months it’s been at Upwey–Tecoma Bowls Club!

We’ve welcomed an incredible 16 new members to our pennant teams, which has allowed us to add another Saturday Pennant side this season. 👏👏

And we’re thrilled to introduce our newest member, Robyn Weinberg!

Robyn brings over 20 years of bowls experience and will be a fantastic addition to our club, both on and off the green.

We’re really proud of the friendly, welcoming club we’re continuing to build, and it’s great to see more and more people wanting to be part of it.

Congratulations Karen Rice! A birthday and the Omar trophy in the same week. Could it get any better? Karen became our first winner of "The Omar" for this season with a remarkable score of 26 on some tough drills at training on 3rd September.
This week's training was attended by a staggering 42 bowlers. Thanks to all the UTBC players for your support of the coaching program and coaching committee. We are trying hard to make each session challenging and enjoyable for everyone.
With our first practice match against Monbulk this week it was decided to dedicate our training session to match practice in rinks. Best of luck to everyone who will be representing our club this Saturday. Try to get there a little earlier to roll up on the Monbulk green and get the feel for your line and weight.

WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY AT UPWEY-TECOMA

What a great turnout for our 2026–27 Open Day and the perfect way to kick off another exciting season at Upwey-Tecoma Bowls Club!

A huge thank you to our special guests Aaron Violi MP, Cr Jeff Marriott and Claire Fitzmaurice for taking the time to join us and for their continued interest and support of our club and local community.

Thank you to Aaron Violi MP for officially opening the 2026–27 season.

There’s plenty to be excited about at UTBC this year. We’ve welcomed 15 new Saturday pennant players, including six who are completely new to the sport, allowing us to enter a fourth Saturday pennant team for the first time in many years.

Most importantly, thank you to all our members, Life Members, volunteers and supporters who came along and made the day such a success.

We’re proud to be a growing, welcoming and community-focused club — friendly off the green, and competitive on if.

The Tigers are ready for a big 2026–27 season!

Another new player joins Upwey-Tecoma!

We’re rapt to welcome Tony French to our fabulous club!

Tony is a super bowler with plenty of experience and will be a great fit at Upwey-Tecoma, a fantastic addition both on and off the green.
