PRACTICE DAY NOW OPEN ON NOMINATE!

OPEN TO ALL ANWE WA AFFILIATED CLUB MEMBERS!

Our Practice Day will be held on Sunday 13th September at Brookleigh Estate in preparation for our 4 phase competition on 3/4 & 10 October.

You can enter up to three rounds of either Dressage and/or EOH; be judged, receive feedback and ride again.

It is Practice - it's where we make our mistakes, learn and try again, we've all been there and it really helps you focus on what you're doing well and what to do when it's not going well. For all levels of rider, give it a go.

We have a Practice Day on 13th September and our two day competition on 3/4 October and we need volunteers to help with obstacle resetting, timers, gate marshalling, gear checkers and pencillers (Nominate Livescore on tablet) - can you help us?

Please let us know by email [email protected] or comment below and we'll be in touch with you.

See you there!

☀️The sun was shining this weekend so team Brookleigh rode! ☀️ With a rally on Saturday and Cattle Clinic on Sunday our riders were practicing for states, introducing their horses to cattle work and (most importantly) socialising & having a laugh.

Thankyou to everyone who showed up, supported, rode and chatted. Hope to see you at Sunday’s super clinic!

Here’s my recap of the morning cattle session. What should your horse’s theme music be in this phase?

2026 is already half way through so if are you already thinking about doing something different for the rest of the year, you can come and try working equitation at our June 7th rally. Be a guest and try classes in obstacles, garrocha skills, precision riding patterns or if you are already experienced, our short course obstacles class.

We have set up our rallies to be supportive and full of learning at a level appropriate to your stage of training.

Enjoy being under cover in the Brookleigh indoor arena.

It's all here for you in Working Equitation. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Our grateful thanks to our sponsor of our recent 3 Phase competition:

NutriBalance Clinic - Supporting Our Community

Thank you so much for the opportunity to support the recent Brookleigh Working Equitation competition, it’s such a special club to be part of and I’m grateful to give back.

We put so much care into our horses’ nutrition, performance and recovery… but what about our own? As riders, our body is our most important asset in the saddle.

The right nutrition can support:
+ Energy and stamina
+ Focus and mental clarity
+ Recovery and strength
+ Weight loss and maintaining or building muscle
+ Hormone balance and overall wellbeing

I was proud to sponsor 3 personalised nutrition consultations, and I’ve already had the pleasure of supporting one of the lovely winners.

If you’d like support with your own health: Book via HealthBank (see link) or call or text me 0477 006 575

Health fund rebates apply, unlike our horses’ nutrition!

The second Working Equitation competition and our club's first one for the year is done.

We had lovely weather, a little overcast at times for the day but temperatures were good and we finished earlier than the scheduled time - so a great effort from our judges, riders and helpers - what a team! 19 horses were in competition over 5 levels with some "fabulous horses" (quote from our super judge Megan Joerg).

Thanks to Sam Applin who judged Prep Speed during Megan's break.

Thanks too to Edwina Webster, our super dressage judge.

Thanks to our generous sponsor, NutriBalance Clinic** **for their nutrition consultation vouchers for the winners of L3, L4 and L5.

As usual, a wonderful atmosphere with great conversations and music

The riders across the levels were an inspiration to all and a pleasure to watch.

Enjoy the Photos and videos.

CATTLE CLINIC - TIME TO ENTER!

We have been advised that at this time there are only 4 entered for the cattle clinic next weekend (11th April).

I understand that we are in uncertain times and costs for fuel and other things is making things challenging and events may have to be cancelled.

So that we can make an informed decision, it would be appreciated if you were thinking of going, could you please contact Lynn as soon as possible.
