Mt Gravatt AFC would like to thank the AFL for dropping by last week and giving the Vultures family the opportunity to get up close with the AFL Premiership Cup! 🏆

There were plenty of photos, giveaways, smiles and some very excited Vultures — a fantastic opportunity for our players, families and supporters to enjoy.

And the timing couldn’t have been better, with James Derbyshire and the Southside Toyota team recommitting as naming rights sponsor of our home ground for another two years! 🙌

This extends our partnership with this outstanding local business to an incredible 8 years — a commitment that means so much to the Mt Gravatt Vultures.

That’s a wrap on our Masters season!

Our Masters season came to an end last weekend, and it was extra special as we celebrated 50 games for Kate Andrew! 🎉👏

Kate is a wonderful club person who always gives so much back. This year, she has gone above and beyond, also volunteering as the U15s Team Manager.

Congratulations on 50 games, Kate — and thank you for everything you do for our club! 💙🏉

🦅 HELP LEAD THE VULTURES QAFL PROGRAM IN 2027

Mt Gravatt Vultures AFC is building for 2027 and we’re looking for experienced, ambitious coaches and football people who want to be part of the next chapter of our QAFL Football Program.

With Ray Armstrong confirmed as Head Coach and Peter Young continuing as Football Director, we’re expanding our coaching and football support team across our QAFL and youth pathway programs.

We have a developing playing list, strong foundations and a clear ambition — To build a high-performing football program and restore Mt Gravatt to its place among Queensland’s leading men’s football clubs.

We’re looking for people who bring:

▪️ Strong football knowledge and coaching experience, particularly at QAFL or equivalent levels

▪️ A genuine passion for developing players and building high-performing teams

▪️ The ability to work collaboratively within a structured coaching department

▪️ Leadership, communication and people-development skills

▪️ A commitment to creating a positive, accountable and connected football culture

▪️ The energy and ambition to help shape the future of the Vultures
