Northern Gold Coast Touch has been seeded #26 IN AUSTRALIA in the 2026 Touch Screen Affiliate Cup! 🙌🔥

And what makes this one extra special? These seedings are based on COMMUNITY & SOCIAL STRENGTH — and THAT is something we are incredibly proud of! 💜

Out of 128 Touch Football affiliates across Australia, our little corner of the Northern Gold Coast has landed at #26! 😍

This isn’t just about numbers on a field. It’s about the community we’ve built, the people who show up, get involved, share, support, volunteer, play, coach, referee and help spread the NGCT love. 🥰 and there’s absolutely more to come!

This ranking belongs to ALL of you!

It was our absolute pleasure to host our second ever Northern Gold Coast Schools Cup today! 💜🖤

After Mother Nature rained us out last term, she certainly made up for it today with some BEAUTIFUL GC weather… although we may have heard a few complaints that it was sooooo hot! 😂☀️🥵

A HUGE thank you to all of our schools for getting behind and supporting our annual Schools Cup. We absolutely LOVE seeing so many kids out on the fields representing their schools, having a crack and enjoying our great game! 🙌

And we’re already calling it… 2027 is going to be even BIGGER and BETTER! 👀🔥

Congratulations to every single team who took the field today — and a massive YAHOOOOOOO 🎉 to our Grand Final winners:

The QTF roadshow is coming to town to deliver a Touch Football Academy!

Discovery Academy is designed for players aged 6–11 years, this academy introduces kids to the game of touch football in a fun, supportive and engaging environment.

The Discovery Academy focuses on learning through play, helping kids explore the fundamentals of touch football via simple demonstrations, games and skill-based activities that build confidence and enjoyment of the sport.

👦 Ages: 6–11 Years
🕒 Time: 9:00am – 10:30am

✨ Why made you want to be part of the team?
Since I started being involved in touch, I’ve always loved the culture that NGCT has built and what the club stands for

✨ Have you always loved footy?
I’ve always loved all footy codes since I was 5, and have played footy since that age as well

✨ What team do you support?
Brisbane lions, Broncos and the Reds

✨ Role models in the sport?
James O’Connor

✨ What’s one thing you wish you knew before your first game?
No matter what level of sport you play, always remember why you started playing and have fun

Yes, we’ve had a few of you ask, so let’s clear it up: Touch Footy is ON tomorrow!

Gold Coast Show doesn’t change a thing for us, we’ll be out there ready to go as normal. Grab the kids, bring the sideline chairs, and come get amongst it.
