Congratulations to all the Virginia Dolphins swimmers heading to the Queensland State Championships next week! Alice Berry, Byron Berry, Tom Crunkhorn, Willow Bone, Bryce Easton, Patience Flynn, Zander Galvin, Noah Lindner, and Liam Young have all worked incredibly hard, putting in countless hours of training to qualify for this prestigious event.
Competing against Queensland’s best swimmers, as well as talent from across Australia and around the world, is no small feat.
The Queensland State Championships are one of the toughest senior swim events in Australia, second only to Nationals, and these swimmers have earned their spot through sheer dedication.
Virginia Dolphins are extremely proud of these athletes. Most of them started with just 12–25 meter swims on Friday nights years ago, and to see how far they’ve come is truly inspiring.
A special shout out to our incredible swim coach, Chanaka Malimbada Without your unwavering inspiration, dedication, and coaching skills, our kids would not be as focused or committed as they are today. You've not only taught them the strokes but also instilled in them the values of hard work, perseverance, and the drive to push beyond their limits. We are truly grateful for your guidance, and the success these swimmers are achieving is a direct reflection of your exceptional coaching. Thank you for all that you do!
Your commitment and hard work will not go unnoticed. Best of luck to all of you next week—swim your best!
