This squad has DOMINATED their division all season, and after being crowned LEAGUE CHAMPIONS, they have now gone one step further and claimed the GRAND FINAL CHAMPION TITLE! 🏆🏆 defeating a formidable Thirroul side in an intense battle that went right down to the wire! 🔥

Our boys brought the fire to the pitch last night! 🔥❤️They fought for every ball, battled until the final whistle and showed incredible determination, composure and belief.

And when it mattered most… ONE GOAL WAS ALL IT TOOK! ⚽🙌

To say these lads have played with HEART all year is an understatement. ❤️ They have shown determination, passion, teamwork and an incredible commitment to each other every single week. To finish the season as League Champions AND Grand Final Champions is an incredible achievement and one that every player should be immensely proud of. 👏🏆

A huge congratulations and thank you to Coach Alex, who has been there every step of the way. His passion, dedication and commitment to this team has been unwavering, and last night they delivered the ultimate reward for all that hard work. 👏❤️

What an INCREDIBLE season this team has had! 🔥⚽️

Playing in one of the toughest leagues in the competition, our 16 Division 1 boys have produced outstanding results all season long. Starting the year with 9 new players, this group came together, worked hard and bought into everything their coaching staff asked of them.

And what a journey it has been…

They narrowly missed out on taking home the League Champion title, but when it mattered most, this team went to another level. 💪

Through the finals, they were simply untouchable — and last night our 16 Div 1 boys were crowned GRAND FINAL WINNERS, after an absolute show-stopping display of football against a tough Balgownie side! 👏🔥

From the very first whistle, our boys played with heart, determination, belief and an incredible amount of quality. The football was outstanding, the goals were nothing short of EPIC…WOW! 🤯🔥 and when it mattered most, our Hearts boys stood tall and secured a sensational 3–1 victory!

🔥♥️OUR HEARTS WERE ON FULL DISPLAY LAST NIGHT ♥️🔥

What a game. What a season. What a team. ❤️⚽

Our Unanderra Hearts 17 Div 2 boys played their HEARTS OUT last night in a Grand Final battle against Kiama that had absolutely everything.

It was nail-biting. It was intense. It was emotional. Both teams left everything on the pitch, and after 100 mins, neither side could be separated.

⚽ 2–2 after regulation time
🔥 Extra time… still 2–2
😱 And ultimately, the Grand Final had to be decided by a penalty shootout.

Unfortunately, it just wasn’t our night, with our Hearts boys going down in the shootout. 💔

But while the result may not have gone our way, there is SO much for this team to be proud of. ❤️💙

These boys have had an INCREDIBLE season and they are LEAGUE CHAMPIONS — and crowned for a reason! 🏆

Their consistency, determination, commitment and quality throughout the entire season has been nothing short of commendable. Week after week, they showed up, worked hard and proved exactly why they deserved to finish as League Champions. 🏆👏
Congratulations to coach’s Pedro and Matt for all their hard work and commitment to these lads. They are lucky to have such an amazing coaching team 💪

Last night, they showed that same fight and determination when it mattered most.

To every player — hold your heads high. You gave everything. You fought until the very last kick and represented the Hearts jersey with enormous pride. ♥️

A Grand Final loss doesn’t take away from the incredible year you’ve had.

A huge day yesterday for our junior sides as the U16s, U17s and U18s represented the Hearts in their Grand Finals!

• U16s Div 1: 🏆Unanderra Hearts 3–1 Balgownie
• U17s Div 2: Unanderra Hearts 2–2 Kiama — Kiama win 4–2 on penalties
• U18s Div 2: 🏆Unanderra Hearts 1–0 Thirroul Thunder

A massive congratulations to our U16s Div 1 and U18s Div 2 who are GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! ❤️🏆 An incredible achievement and a great way to finish the season.

Commiserations to our U17s Div 2, who fought all the way through a tight Grand Final before falling just short on penalties. Hold your heads high after a fantastic season.

Congratulations to all the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters involved throughout the year.
