🍞 conistonbakery Player of the Week – River Smith‑Jauregui

This week’s Coniston Bakery Player of the Week comes from our U14 Division 3 team, who faced a tough Friday night match.

A huge congratulations to River Smith‑Jauregui, who stepped up from the U12s to support the U14.3s in a challenging game against Coniston. River worked tirelessly in the midfield, contributing in both attack and defence, showing maturity beyond his age and never being overawed by the older boys.

His effort, composure, and willingness to compete made a real impact and earned him this well‑deserved recognition.

It is with great sadness that Unanderra Hearts Football Club acknowledges the passing of our Life Member, John Adams.

John dedicated countless years of service to our club and played a significant role in helping shape the Unanderra Hearts community that we know today. Through his commitment, hard work, and passion for football, he contributed greatly to the growth and success of the club, including serving in administrative roles and supporting generations of players, coaches, volunteers, and families.

John's contribution extended far beyond the football field. He was part of the fabric of our club, giving his time generously and helping to build the strong community spirit that remains at the heart of Unanderra Hearts.

On behalf of our players, members, volunteers, Life Members, and supporters, we extend our sincere condolences to John's family and friends during this difficult time.

His legacy will live on through the club he helped build and the many lives he touched along the way.

Rest in Peace, John. Your contribution to Unanderra Hearts will never be forgotten.

In a week heavily affected by wet weather, one performance still shone through.

Congratulations to Marcos Gomes from our ladder‑leading Under 17.2s team, named this week’s Coniston Bakery Player of the Week!

Marcos was outstanding in the team’s 9–1 win over Tarrawanna, scoring two goals and constantly creating chances for his teammates. His work rate, creativity, and composure in attack helped drive a dominant team performance.

A brilliant effort from Marcos and a great reflection of the strong season the 17.2s are putting together.

⭐ Kalylah – Under 13 Girls Div 2 ⭐

What a performance. Before heading off to compete in a Dance competition (where she also received a 1sr place), Kalylah lit up the field with six incredible goals. Her speed, composure, and pure determination set the tone for the whole match and gave her team a massive boost.

🍞 Coniston Bakery Player of the Week – Sebastian Jeffery
A huge congratulations to Sebastian Jeffery, captain of our ladder‑leading U18.2s, who has been named this week’s Coniston Bakery Player of the Week.

Sebastian was outstanding on Friday night, controlling the midfield and leading from the front in a convincing 4–1 win over Bulli. His composure, work rate, and leadership continue to set the standard for his team and the club.

Well done, Seb — a well‑deserved recognition for a captain in great form.

We also want to give a big shout‑out to Oliver S from our U9 Scarlett team.

Oliver generously gave up his time on Saturday to help out at the BBQ, showing incredible club spirit and the kind of community values we’re proud to see in our young Hearts players. Thank you, Oliver — your effort didn’t go unnoticed.

Unanderra Hearts FC is currently looking for new players to join our junior teams for the upcoming season! If your child is keen to get involved in football, learn new skills, make friends and be part of a supportive club environment, we’d love to welcome you to the Hearts community.

We are currently looking for players in the following age groups:

U14 Boys
• 5 Players

Whether your child is new to football or already loves the game, Unanderra Hearts provides a great environment to develop skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team.

⭐️♥️⚽️What a fantastic day for our little superstars at the annual Albion Park Gala Day! ⭐️♥️⚽️🫶

We are incredibly proud of all our Under 6 and Under 7 teams from Unanderra Hearts FC who represented our club with so much enthusiasm, sportsmanship and talent today. Our littlest Hearts players absolutely shined on the field, with smiles and excitement in abundance as they played the game they love most.

Some of our young teams went undefeated throughout the day🎉, and all of our superstar hearts players showcased amazing teamwork, determination and skill — a true glimpse into the bright future of our club. Seeing the confidence and passion growing in these young players is something very special for our Hearts family.

Unanderra Hearts FC would also like to sincerely thank Albion park Football Club for hosting such an important and well-run event. Opportunities like these give our young players the chance to build their skills, grow their confidence, make friendships and most importantly, have fun.

We are so, so proud of our littlest Hearts players and can’t wait to see them back running around the fields again next weekend.

🔥🔥🔥 Congratulations to the Unanderra Hearts 14-1 team and coaches on an outstanding 4-1 victory today over a strong Ryde Panthers FC side in their State Cup fixture!⚽🔥

The boys continue to perform exceptionally well, showing determination, teamwork, and plenty of Hearts spirit every time they take the field. A fantastic effort from everyone involved to progress through to the next round of the Football New South Wales State Cup competition. 💪

We are very proud of the team and wish them the very best of luck in the next stage of the tournament.
