Earlier this week Anne Orders passed away. Anne was a Life Member and served as Co-Patron. She also served many years on the committee. An inspiration to everyone over the years especially her commitment to the juniors. RIP Anne you will be missed greatly.

As of the 1st of May everyone that enters the tennis courts are required to check in using the check in app. The QR code is located to the right of the main gate and also on the door to the club rooms. Please ensure that you do this.

With restrictions to ease on Monday 18th May, the tennis club will be available only to members & coaching pupils with the following restrictions still in place by State Government & Tennis Tasmania. Maximum of 10 people within the complex this includes players, coaching staff and spectators. No match play or competitions until 15th June.

With the continued escalation of the COVID-19 crisis and in consultation with the tennis community and the Government at each level, Tennis Tasmania and Tennis Australia has identified that we need to act in the best interest of community health and safety by applying the following recommendations.

Tennis Tasmania is recommending that all tennis activities cease temporarily across the state, from 11:59pm, Saturday 28 March. This recommendation includes:

· All tennis clubs and centres are to close until further notice

· All tennis programmes and coaching be postponed or cancelled, including one-on-one coaching

· All club, association and social play be postponed or cancelled until further notice

· All public court hire bookings to cease.
