2025 North West Teams and Individual Championships
Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June 2025:
Venue
34 Forbes Street but enter Car Park off Charles Street
Start time
We will commence with a briefing at 8.50am with the 1st Round of the North West Teams Event to commence at 9am.
Please see below teams for the North West Teams event (For each round players will get a minimum of 1 match).
Teams Event Schedule
Round 1 Teams Event 9am – 10.15am Saturday 14th June
Round 2 Teams Event 9am – 10.15am Sunday 15th June
Round 3 Teams Event 10.15am – 11.30am Sunday 15th June
Round 4 Teams Event 11.30am – 12.45pm Sunday 15th June
*Matches Best of 3 games to 21 points,*Golden Point 20 all – No setting
Individual Championships
The Individual Championships (Singles) will commence from 10.30am on Saturday 14th June, This will be followed by Doubles and Mixed. Please check the draw and make sure your payment is correct according to the amount of events you have entered.
Entry Fees
Adult - $20 each Individual event entered
Junior - $15 each Individual event entered
Please also note every player must pay a $2 Badminton Tasmania Tournament Fee with their entry
Teams Event – Adult $50, Junior $35
*Junior – Under 18 at the time of the event.

Partners
If you entered with ‘partner required’ and have not been able to find a partner before Saturday, please come and see Rob at the Referee’s desk and he will see what he can do to get you a game.
Shuttles
Shuttles are included in your entry fee. If you are playing a game and your shuttle is near new at the end of your game, could you please bring your shuttle back to the tournament desk in the top hall so it can be used for future games.
Umpires
If you are not on court playing, please be available to umpire.
Presentations
Individual Championships winners medals will be presented during the day at the conclusion of each of the events. If you are successful please come and see the referee or event director to collect your medal.
Teams event presentations will be conducted at the conclusion of the final teams event game on Sunday.
Canteen
Unfortunately there is no canteen facilities available, however within 200m walking distance from the stadium there is a coffee shop – Playfish on Forbes street, The Big Spud on Forbes street as well as a Take Away store.
Photography
Over the course of the weekend we will have a few photographers taking action shots and presentation photo’s – If you don’t wish to be photographed please come and see the event director on Saturday morning before the commencement of play. We will be using photo’s over the weekend on our social media platforms.
